As a Lead of Inbound Management you will be responsible for strategic planning and day-to-day operations of the team. The Inbound Management is a core part of the Supply Chain Management department, providing logistics solutions for a fast supply of goods, order creation for our suppliers and supports on-time-deliveries to our customers. The team acts as a partner for internal and external stakeholders. In this role you drive projects to increase customer convenience and processes.

  • You will lead the Inbound Management Team with currently 10 operational direct reports and a Junior Lead
  • You will lead the team responsible for the coordination of on - time deliveries in line with the relevant Lounge Logistic KPIs within the growing Zalando network
  • You will monitor various KPIs, root cause analysis, implementation of corrective actions
  • You will be responsible for continuous improvement of operational processes to ensure scalability of a growing business
  • You will drive data integration into our reporting tool (Tableau)
  • You will collaborate with and manage key stakeholders including warehouse teams, internal colleagues (like Supply, Logistics Tech, SCM teams) as well as Carriers and Suppliers
  • You will be responsible for coaching and developing your direct reports on their individual career path
  • You have a Bachelor's or Master's Degree in a related field
  • You are supportive and inspiring Leader with at least 2 years of leadership experience
  • You got a proven track record of process implementations and/or continuous projects in Operations, preferably Supply Chain or Logistics
  • You are a self-starter who can work with ambiguity in a fast changing and dynamic environment
  • You got an excellent communication skills, written and oral, in English with the ability to engage with a multilingual international customer base and teams. Knowledge of German, Polish, French or Spanish is an advantage
  • You are committed to build long-lasting relationships with stakeholders, by considering what matters most to them and by actively seeking different perspectives and using feedback constructively to solve critical issues
  • You are confident in dealing with stressful situations and solve complex problems by applying logical and intuitive concepts and developing easily understandable approaches based on in-depth process knowledge
  • You are a team Player with structured and goal-oriented approach to work
