For many customers, organic search is often the first digital touchpoint into the world of luxury, and there is an incredible opportunity to reshape our SEO efforts to improve how customers shop with us and connect with our brands.

The Director of SEO will lead the global strategy for SEO for, and and be accountable for delivering against traffic and sales targets for the SEO channel. Day-to-day, you will lead delivery of initiatives to execute against growth targets, partnering with Technology, Marketing and Commercial teams and Agencies to ensure successful execution. Ability to execute at scale is critical for this role, and you will leverage your expertise in both technical and content related aspects of SEO to drive excellence and ultimately growth.

As a senior leader, you will also create and lead a new center of excellence in SEO and influence the broader organization. You will serve as the subject matter expert and chief evangelist for all things SEO, and drive awareness, establish best practices, and build out internal expertise around search engine optimization.

  • Identify new ways of increasing organic ranking, traffic, and revenue and build plans based on keyword opportunities to improve rank and position
  • Develop and execute a comprehensive SEO strategy including content, technical SEO, link building, social to drive long term sustainable growth
  • Serve as a senior leader and subject matter expert on technical and content SEO, to help define strategy and implement best practices
  • Partner with Marketing and external agencies to balance paid initiatives and drive holistic cross-channel customer engagement strategies
  • Lead and influence a number of cross functional teams across the organization to deliver large scale SEO innovation and channel growth
  • Oversee SEO workstreams to plan, manage, execute, analyze, and iterate on SEO initiatives
  • Provide analysis and report and monitor on performance of SEO
  • Serve as the nexus of communication and planning between executive leaders, marketers, and other internal teams
  • Build an internal team of SEO experts; mentor and guide associates

  • 10 years of full-time agency or consulting experience in SEO required
  • 5+ years managing a team
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Agile based, design-thinking, user-centric, results oriented
  • Detail-oriented, with strong organizational skills, able to work under deadlines in a changing environment
  • Ability to prioritize effectively, strong project management skills; ability to triage and prioritize competing needs
  • Collaborative working style to build relationships
