Position Overview
Ralph Lauren is seeking a Sr. Digital Technology Operation Manager, Transformation to join its Long Island City based Studio Operations team. This is a leadership position which requires working closely with other Digital Operation Leads, IT and business stakeholders to define current barriers to success, capture business requirements, develop a plan of action in order to lead solution replacement workflows, participate in story writing, and release new ways of working. Promoting and implementing innovative and future proof solutions with respect to data integrity, product setup and product enrichment will require the Transformation Lead to be able to insert themselves into current processes, ask questions, and immerse themselves in the daily tasks of other team members in order to have a full understanding of the challenges they face. Communicating these challenges back to our IT partners through clear documentation is imperative to the success of the implementation of a solution and will require on-going refinements and capability reviews with the business stakeholders. The Transformation Lead should have a positive, and iterative approach to this process. The Transformation Manager is expected to be a thorough documenter, and able to translate between "biz-speak" and "IT-speak", understand limitations of platforms, and be invested in improving the operational workflow across the organization. Although primarily a work-from-home role, there will be periodical on-premise activities to perform.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

* Collaborate with the business leaders to understand how technology can support their areas, providing recommendations and delivering high quality projects
* Plan, manage and organize project tasks, lead and assign team and individual objectives
* Partner with Business, DAM Operations, PIM Operations, Sample Tracking & IT leads to capture requirements, plan work, solutionist platforms and databases that will bring efficiency to the teams
* Develop, establish and maintain database standards, processes and related documentation
* Partner with Change Management to document processes for business.
* Research and propose changes and new options to improve product data quality and integrity
* Capture requirements through murals, charts, graphic representations
* Periodically report progress back to business through road-shows or other large format meetings

Experience, Skills & Knowledge

* Experience with Product Information Management Systems and Processes
* Experience with Scrum/Agile Development Methodology
* Experience with Sprint Releases
* Partnership with Scrum Masters, Product Owners, Solution Owners
* Prior retail experience is preferred
* Prior experience leading teams in a managerial role is preferred
* Strong leadership skills
* Proven ability to work independently in a dynamic environment with multiple assigned projects and tasks
* Outstanding ability to communicate, both verbally and in writing
* Strong analytical and problem solving skills
* Experience working in a high-volume photo studio a plus
