Position Overview
This is an exciting opportunity to join the Ralph Lauren family as a full-time Assistant Merchandise Planner. The objective of this role is to support the Merchandising team to maximize commercial opportunities through the effective management of inventory, driving sales through improved availability and forecasting.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities
· Provide weekly summary of key performance indicators within department of responsibility and the wider business, relating to sales, stock, profit, markdown and market insights. · Key contact for all analysis relating to department of responsibility and the wider business. · Responsible for stock allocation, replenishments from local inventory hub to stores on weekly basis as per sales forecast & demand. · Ensure apt inventory levels across all categories by closely working with HKMM team. · Key contact for stores on any inventory availability queries and pricing queries. · Review historical sales trend, research demand drivers, prepare forecast data, work on model stock & sales forecast by sku by store partnering closely with HKMM team · Own the responsibility of special projects by monitoring shipment deliveries, collating design documents, doing store allocation, in-depth analysis on historical sales. · Do frequent store visits to gain understanding on customers and provide feedback on range performance. · Interact with cross functional teams to improve category performance and drive best practices · Conduct detailed ad-hoc analysis when required on specific products/product groups · Investigate as to how the sale of a particular product or of the store can be increase. · Any other ad hoc duties as reasonably requested.

Experience, Skills & Knowledge
· Proven experience in fashion retail merchandise planning at assistant / junior level. · Background of Men's and Women's apparel fashion is preferred. · Advanced planning and analytical skills, advance excel skills is a must. · Good judgement and decision-making skills · Confidence in suggesting calculated risks · Strong customer awareness and understanding · Passionate about product, strong market and brand awareness · Discreet, professional and well spoken, with excellent communication skills · Exceptionally organized, methodical and efficient. · Time keeping & ability to meet stringent deadlines
