FINANCE

We're a global team with a presence in all of our locations around the world. Our biggest teams are based in the UK and Portugal. Our team in Porto focuses on financial reporting and operations, while the Group Finance team in London is made up of Corporate Development, Tax, Treasury and Commercial Finance. All of our teams play an instrumental role within the business, from developing best practice, delivering strategic projects and helping us to tell our story with data.

THE ROLE

As a Corporate Tax Associate you will work in the Group Compliance on corporate tax affairs and be involved on tax advisory projects. You will be part of an experienced Group Tax Team that works with all areas of the business and therefore you will work with international tax planning, transfer pricing and managing the compliance process for the countries in which the Farfetch operates.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

    • Help complete Corporate Income Tax (CIT) returns and filings for the countries where Farfetch has a taxable presence, by coordination of external advisors inputs - focus on Italy and UK jurisdictions are considered preferential;
    • Develop and help support tax positions taken in tax filings, including drafting written memorandums for international tax technical matters;
    • Support/prepare workpapers, schedules, calculations and other items related to tax return filings, estimated tax payments, and extension payments, that including controlling all the deadlines and filings;
    • Provide necessary technical input for international tax questions raised by the business;
    • Assist on any tax enquiries from the tax authorities;
    • Support quarterly tax reporting process by helping on the computation of all corporate tax related figures and reconciliations to accounting


WHO YOU ARE

    • Degreed in Economics, Management, Accounting, Law or similar subject;
    • Fluent in English (written and spoken);
    • Minimum of 4 years of experience in similar roles;
    • Exposure to International taxation and transfer pricing;
    • Experimented user of Microsoft Office, mainly Excel.
