This is an exciting opportunity to join the growth of Bella Freud and be part of a highly-motivated team of
individuals based in our London office.
We are looking for a well-organised Production Assistant to work closely with the Product Team and
manage daily communications with vendors whilst keeping internal administration up to date and
accurate.


Main Duties and Responsibilities:
 Daily liaison with Production and Design departments regarding production deadlines and
delivery targets to ensure the critical path is on track.
 Maintain clear communication within all departments regarding delivery and product updates.
 Work closely with the Design and Development team to keep on top of any changes to styles in
production and chase PPS sign-off to avoid any delay in production.
 Coordinate raw material and sample packages for dispatch from the studio and/or suppliers to
manufacturers.
 Place purchase orders for continuity materials such as labels and packaging to ensure all
factories are receiving raw material on time.
 Work in conjunction with the Development team to source and collect new raw materials such as
trims, labels, and packaging with a focus on sustainability.
 Create and finalise line sheets for the team to discuss the collection and review prices, making
changes where required for completion.
 Support the team with the payments process to ensure all our vendors are paid on time and the
information is correctly logged into our internal tracker.
 Send out weekly stock on-hand reports.
 Monitor the accuracy of deliveries received against paperwork and communicate thoroughly any
discrepancies.
 Be responsible for goods being shipped to have required documentation such as manufacturer
packing list, customs information etc.
 Support the team in keeping the inventory updated with correct info such as commodity codes,
correct production prices etc.
 Communicate with the warehouse regarding incoming deliveries for seasonal production,
ensuring they receive the correct delivery information and monitoring any discrepancies.
 Responsible for transferring stock to Ecommerce by creating pick tickets as soon as the stock
arrives.
 Assist with general office admin, as well as the organisation of samples/labels/fabric cards and
help in the set-up of sample sales events.
 Be an active player in the quality control process of finished goods and bulk fabrics, highlight any
issue that arises and present solutions to the Production team.
 Make sure every supplier complies with our Code of conduct.


Requirements:
 At least 1year of experience in a similar role
 Experienced working for a luxury womenswear brand is preferable but not essential
 Proficient in Excel
 Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, who builds positive relationships both
with internal and external contacts
 Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines
 Attention to detail
