Job Details

This dynamic role will be working closely with the wholesale department with one direct report.  Managing cross channel operations as well as all inbound and outbound stock movements with third-party warehouses, ensuring that all client orders are packed and distributed according to each account’s criteria.  The candidate will be able to work autonomously & execute on seasonal targets to agreed timelines, ensuring that both service level and commercial performance are optimised.

Main Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Forecasting and management of the 3PLs with regards to inbound/ outbound stock Strategically plan all inbound / outbound logistics for the company Communication with Production Department with regards to bulk inbound shipments, booking relevant freight forwarders and collating necessary paperwork and quotations. Ensuring the smooth and timely delivery of all wholesale sales orders from 3PLs within the specified seasonal delivery windows Create and maintain contact with wholesale partners logistics contacts to guarantee the efficient delivery of goods, offering the highest standard of customer service throughout
  • Support with international shipping requirements across the business and related paperwork.  Main point of contact for any queries or updates.
  • Ensure certificates and any relevant documentations needed for shipping/customs are prepared in advance End to end tracking management of deliveries Ensuring shipping instructions and contacts are kept up to date Proactively review existing operations and logistics procedures to streamline processes  Analysing data to assess performance and implement improvements: review and improve costs, productivity, accuracy, and timeliness Management of the timeline of any necessary returns and repairs In season stock allocation of inventory to global wholesale accounts, working with Wholesale and Merchandising department to create seasonal delivery plans Generate weekly and in season KPI and shipping reports; ensure shipping logs are kept up to date Month end reporting to finance on all departmental costs (monthly) Responsible for inventory and stock management

Ideal Candidate:

  • Degree level or similar 5+ years of experience within an apparel or related industry Strong knowledge of: Supply Chain Planning & Execution; International freight forwarding; Import/Export; 3PL Warehouse operations; Carrier management Advanced Microsoft Excel skills and use of Microsoft office Excellent communicator, who builds positive relationships both with internal and external contacts. Experience within international wholesale operations, distributing to a global client base.  A strategic planner with a drive for results
