About the role:

We are looking for a driven, extremely organised and digital savvy individual who will be able to join our team as our Ecommerce Assistant. The candidate will assist in managing the UK and South African ecommerce stores for both Merchants on Long and Okapi.

We are looking for someone who has a passion for ecommerce and administrative tasks. The successful candidate will be analytical and creative, with an inherent understanding of ecommerce, logistics and customer behaviour. 

The role will cover:

- Assist customers with all lines of enquiries, which will include product queries, returns, delivery, payments and more.

- Monitor and respond to customers on social channels.

- Managing all things Shopify, uploading new products, maintenance and technical integration.

- Merchandising stock, writing product descriptions and updating banner images regularly, ensuring functionality is kept at an optimum.

- Support in range planning for the website and developing the newness to deliver varieties that will drive the relevance across the core target audience groups. 

- Fulfilling and packing e-commerce orders, booking couriers and processing refunds.

- Undergoing strict quality control and steaming of all products before being sent.

- Check and track shipments and returns with the courier company.

- Maintaining the showroom and stockroom to a very high standard, including tagging, boxing, and labelling stock.

- Logistics - dealing with shipping, import/export. Managing inventory and booking stock into the system. 

- Monitor and update daily stock levels, flagging low stock items.

- Any additional day-to-day office administration that may be required.

To apply for the role, you will need to have the following skills:

- Must have ecommerce experience within the luxury, premium, or high-end fashion & lifestyle sector.

- Shopify and Excel competence.

- 3+ years experience. 

- Ability to work in a fast-paced constantly changing environment that requires you to multi-task and pivot directions when necessary. 

- A detail-oriented, operationally minded thinker who understands ecommerce and customer behaviour. 

- You are mission-focused and know how to think creatively and analytically about problems.
