JOB PURPOSE

Facilitate planning and decision making for all Burberry's major product launches and marketing moments. This role will support the Director, Consumer Launch Planning, to bring together a key group of C Suite and Exco level decision makers across merchandising, distribution, client engagement, commercial, visual merchandising.

This group is responsible for defining and delivering all major consumer facing moments for Burberry across product and marketing. The Assistant for Consumer Launch Planning, together with the Director, will be responsible for facilitating collaborative and timely decision making around these major moments.

This role will need to plan when meetings need to happen based on critical path for annual planning and planning of major calendar moments, following up on key actions, bringing together insight to inform decisioning and bringing together documents for the CEO.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Calendar coordination
  • Planning of all calendar group meetings aligned to critical path Preparing of documents for these meetings
  • Taking notes and following up on key actions


Cross functional operational support
  • Support Director to create critical path for decision making and key launches in partnership with key functions
  • Support Director to define process for best collaborative decision making between functions


Regional connectivity:
  • Ensure smooth communication with regional teams on all major launches by scheduling timely meetings with regional teams


PERSONAL PROFILE

  • Bachelor degree educated or above
  • Previous experience in marketing, creative or communications within the luxury fashion industry is desired
  • Administrative and organisations skills with excellent attention to detail
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, ability to establish partnerships across the business
  • A clear interest and understanding of marketing
  • Experience of fashion and the fashion industry is a plus but not essential
  • Enthusiastic & pro-active with a "can-do" attitude
