Planning & Cost Controlling Manager

For our Headquarters in Milan, we are looking for a Planning & Cost Controlling Manager to join our Supply Chain team.

Main Responsabilities:

• Define collection and special projects timing together with all the main areas involved during the process
• Monitor the main deadlines in order to identify potential delay and assess solution
• Take into consideration the target shared by the Financial Department, define detailed budget for all product categories involving Product Managers and Merchandiser Team (main efforts assessed for the whole collection from the development to the samples delivery)
• Monitor and assess the actual costs and share the final results with the Financial Department
• Calculate standard costs and margins for each product category during pre-pricing and pricing
• Assess comparison analysis with previous collection in order to identify improvements
• Assess suppliers located in different areas in order to identify the best solution in terms of cost saving
• Assess and define the production orders together with the main areas involved in order to identify the best trade off in terms of margin, minimum production quantities and commercial needs:                                                                                             
• Bulk Order ("projections"): assess the goods that would need to be ordered from suppliers, in order to match the target budget by category provided by Commercial and Financial Departments, taking into consideration the top items sold during sales campaign                                                                                                             
• Monitor, during the whole sales campaign, the key aspects related to "overproduction" and "not evadible"

Ideal Profile:

• At least 8 years previous experience working in relevant field and similar capacity in project estimating and cost controlling
• Prior experience managing a team
• Advanced analytical skills
• Ability to work well in a fast-paced environment
• Degree in Engineering with specialization in Project Management or Cost Control related training
• Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, and Excel, etc.)
• Fluency in English
