Now we are actively looking for a Sales Executive to join our organization, who will be part of Calvin Klein Wholesale team, report directly to Wholesale Senior Manager.

The Position;

Vendor Portfolio Management/New Stores Acquisition
  • Evaluating Vendors:
  • Noting and recording the convenience of the applications coming from different ways
  • Making the first check of the convenience of the applications and reporting the conformity with location/store, company/person and the brand to the Wholesale Senior Manager
  • Having first face to face meeting with appropriate candidates and arranging second meeting with wholesale director if the meeting is successful
  • Assuring the necessary documents from the approved candidate to create vendor account and giving them to Finance/Customer Service departments
  • Ensuring that the new account is available at order system when the document process is over
  • Evaluating New Applications:
  • In case of new request from current vendors for different location, making research about the location and reporting to Wholesale Senior Manager.
  • Project Management:
  • Preparing P&L reports with guidance of Finance department and reporting to Wholesale Senior Manager for new and/or current projects when necessary

Order Period
  • Procurement Budgeting of Associates:
  • Prior to order period, supporting Wholesale Senior Manager by examining the divisional development targets of current stores
  • Recording the examples throughout the season and giving updates to management when necessary
  • Assessing the Store Sales Performance and Applying it to Category Targets:
  • Dividing the total number of units/amounts based on stores/location to division/product groups determined by Wholesale Director and Sales Manager and approved by the management
  • While dividing, taking the necessary reports from the system and paying attention to dispatch-sales performance, trends and company strategies
  • If the study is approved by the Wholesale Senior Manager, notifying the vendors in written and getting confirmation in written, if having difficulties for getting confirmation informing Wholesale Senior Manager and following up the completion of the process
  • Reporting the target number of units/amounts approved by the management based on location and division in order to process current figures and necessary analyzes throughout the order period
  • Making Vendor's Order Sessions:
  • Attending to Line Opening meetings abroad in June for summer collection and in December for winter collection for those divisions of which s/he is in charge, inspecting the collection for our markets, making necessary working and preparation for order period
  • Following up the transportation of the samples from abroad to Turkey that will be used during order period, reporting weekly to Wholesale Director about current situation. In case of any problem while transportation of the samples, taking precaution and informing related departments
  • As the samples arrive to Turkey, following up the organization of the showroom
  • Finding the interns with HR department for order period to enter the orders to the system and support general operation, training them prior to order period and managing them throughout the order period
  • Preparing the order period calendar with vendors and getting the written attendance confirmation by them
  • Helping hotel and transfer reservations of vendors when needed
  • Giving catering orders and finding service staff for order period and ensuring the qualified service
  • Selling the necessary number of units/amounts approved by the management to the vendors, giving feedback to Wholesale Senior Manager and management and taking action when needed
  • At the end of each order session, recording current order units/amounts to the report and sharing relevant departments

Season Management
  • Category Management:
  • During the season following up the shipping for the divisions of which s/he is in charge and ensuring the transmission of the products to the stores in the time it takes, reporting weekly to the Wholesale Director about the phase of the shipping
  • During the season following up the shipping and the product sales for the divisions of which s/he is in charge and qualifying the performance of the products
  • Making necessary follow up in order to meet the demand for product transmissions from different locations
  • Conducting a market research for the divisions of which s/he is in charge, ensuring information flow to Wholesale Director about benchmark and best practice, following up the trends, and giving feedback about the consistency between the divisions and the trends
  • Investigating generation of new sales channels for the divisions of which s/he is in charge, development of current channels, taking place at the each point for product sales, making profit calculation and reporting these to the Wholesale Director and makes follow up

Performance Management:
  • Making profit/loss analysis with the support of finance department for the divisions of which s/he is in charge, reporting this to the Wholesale Director and coordinating the action where necessary
  • Getting information from those people with whom we work together for benchmark about other brand's performances if available and reporting the comparison to the Wholesale Director
  • Generating an idea and making suggestions for promotion and discount cases where necessary, during that period meeting with the vendors and giving feedback to the Wholesale Director

CK Europe Headquarters Management
  • Category Management:
  • Keeping good relationships with headquarter employees of the divisions of which s/he is in charge
  • Attending to the Division Adoption meeting in March for summer season and in September for winter season, gathering information about new season collections, inspecting the collection, sharing the missing points and needs with the foreign team, sharing the meeting notes with the related departments and following up the demand process.
  • Managing the visits of the overseas representatives of the divisions of which s/he is in charge at least once in a year
  • Business Development:
  • Getting support from Retail Development if there will be monobrand/multibrand implementations for the divisions of which s/he is in charge that needs some furniture or similar equipment, and following it up with the foreign office.
  • Coordinating whole process that includes bringing the equipment from abroad, local installation and completing the implementation

Relationships with Support Units (Headquarter Office)
  • Finance & Accounting:
  • Following up all documents about risk management (main contract, cheque, letter of guarantee, note) of the divisions of which s/he is in charge and receiving the documents that is at the correct amount and the expiree
  • Marketing & Customer Relations:
  • Following up the process of local implementation of marketing and CRM activities and applications, keeping the communication between local marketing team and the customers, and supporting both parties where necessary.
  • Visual Organization:
  • Following up the process of local implementation of the VM applications, keeping the communication between local VM team and the customers, and supporting both parties where necessary.

Ideal Candidate:
  • University degree or above in relevant departments
  • 3+ years of experience in retail sector or equivalent, having an experience for making sales to the customers
  • Ability to find new customers and potential contacts for development & growth
  • Following continuously customer efficiency, sales & performances
  • Develop suggestions to improve customer sales and to increase the sales potential, close communication with the clients.
  • Proficiency in MS Excel and Powerpoint
  • Fluent in English (both written and spoken)
  • Strong analytical and organizational skills
  • Strong communication skills with clients & partners
  • Ability to work independently and manage stress
  • Being self-esteemed, highly motivated, problem solver, analytical thinking
  • Excellent team player, open minded, result oriented
