As a Team Lead, Candidate Experience Operations, you will manage and mentor a team of 16 Candidate Experience Specialists (CES), whose primary mission is to support candidates and orchestrate the recruitment processes in our tech teams. In your leadership capacity, you will make sure that your team is equipped with processes and practices to create an outstanding experience for all candidates and enable the Talent Acquisition team to deliver against Zalando's talent acquisition objectives.

  • Manage, mentor and enable a team of 16 CES who focus on the scheduling of all recruitment activities within our Tech Recruitment teams.
  • Provide clear goals for your team and ensure the execution of the operational plans that stem off TA's overarching delivery plan.
  • Monitor productivity and the operational health of scheduling practices, articulating solutions where needed, continually striving for better candidate experience and more efficient processing times. Participate in decisions regarding recruiting operations and analysing available data to drive your decisions.
  • Represent the CES team within Talent Acquisition/ People & Organisation teams and the wider business, providing visibility to TA Leaders around the team's performance. Support and educate your stakeholders in our scheduling operations and tools to contribute to a seamless candidate experience.
  • In your capacity as manager, you coach, mentor and develop the people in your team, finding opportunities for your team to learn and build their skills. You develop a strong feedback culture, actively aiming to understand the engagement and health of your team.
  • Take a functional ownership of our scheduling tool GoodTime within Talent Acquisition. Manage the GoodTime Core User group and be the main contact person between GoodTime team and Zalando.

  • Previous experience leading a high-volume operational team within a complex environment and multiple counterparts.
  • You are well-structured, able to manage change and rally engagement from key stakeholders. You are comfortable working with data, both to monitor the health of operations and to articulate solutions that improve the status quo.
  • Facing challenges, you are comfortable identifying the right priorities, you are able to organise yourself and others effectively and have a solution-oriented approach.
  • Demonstrated people leadership skills with an ability to motivate and develop your team and foster a supportive and high-delivery environment.
  • Hands-on mentality and acting like an owner distinguishes your working style - you can easily think strategically and show innovation, but you are also willing to tackle necessary operational tasks.
  • Demonstrable experience in Talent Acquisition.
  • Able to write convincing narratives, using data and analysis to back-up recommendations.
  • Proficiency in the use of tools such as Greenhouse, Workday and GoodTimes.
