JOB PURPOSE

You will;

• Manage the end-to-end performance management process from objective-setting to Year End Review
• Manage all performance-related activities including systems and communications to ensure a seamless performance cycle
• Drive global Career Development agenda
• Play a key role in managing stakeholder relationships across the business to continuously enhance and elevate our Global Performance and Talent approach
• Embed Diversity & Inclusion and our Leadership Standards throughout the Performance, Talent and Development processes

RESPONSIBILITIES

Performance Management:

  • Deliver a seamless end-to-end global performance management cycle including Year-End, Calibration, Objective-Setting and Quarterly Check ins
  • Partner with the Reward Team to ensure alignment on the Year End Review
  • Collaborate with the Systems team to review Connect to elevate and enhance the process
  • Project manage any changes to the process; identifying and making recommendations to mitigate any risks identified
  • Support in elevating leadership capability through developing tools and resources to equip line managers in having meaningful performance and development conversations
  • Create impactful communications including support resources for colleagues and people managers


Talent:

  • Project manage the implementation of an enhanced talent management system to meet talent and succession requirements
  • Lead talent strategic projects
  • Responsible for the design, delivery and ongoing implementation of Burberry's career development offering including driving mentoring across the business and development planning
  • Lead the global Career Development agenda; partnering with leaders and HR Business Partners to embed across Burberry
  • Drive the deployment of Burberry's Leadership Standards across all colleague touchpoints


PERSONAL PROFILE

• Degree qualified, ideally in HR or Organisational Development.
• Ideally CIPD qualified (UK only)
• Experience in managing global projects
• Experience in managing talent and/or performance processes
• Experience of working in a fast moving, creative environment, where they can speak the language of the business
• Ability to build relationships with wider teams to achieve common objectives
