If you are looking for a new creative challenge, Paul Smith London HQ are currently looking for an experienced Temporary Display Dresser to ensure the successful influence of our store window displays. You will be responsible for dressing the UK and Danish shop windows, under the direction of the UK Visual Merchandising & Display Manager. As well as supporting the UK visual merchandising team with floor moves. 

This is a temporary role for 5 months until late December 2022. 

Responsibilities:
• Assisting the UK Manager and Display Dresser by dressing the windows in the UK and Danish retail markets. You be required to work remotely and also visiting stores in person.
• Visit the UK shops regularly, dressing the shop windows in line with the marketing calendar or the relevant commercial push. 
• Plan and organise ahead of time to ensure appropriate stock is available for the relevant marketing/commercial pushes. 
• Working with the UK manager to select stock and ensure that shop window displays are executed to both the global styling and highest standards possible. 
• Document all window installations through photographs to be shared with the wider business. 
• Build and maintain strong working relationships with all shop managers and staff. Be the shops initial point of contact concerning current displays and any necessary changes between shop visits. Provide shop staff with any training as and when needed.
• Collaborate on new window display ideas, initiatives, and implementations with the wider VM/Windows team.
• Offer support to the UK Manager on relevant projects when required. This may include research, analysis, development, mock-ups, and occasionally completing invoices, payments and shipping. 
• Assist the UK Manager in maintaining the shared drive and VM intranet homepage. 
• Support the UK VM team with VM floor moves and with the dressing of internal mannequins/Valets.

Essential Experience and Skills Required: 
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Packages and experience of using Illustrator and Photoshop.
• Have highly proficient experience of display work.
• Previous credible experience of working in a Visual Merchandising or Display role within the Retail industry.
• Desirable to have a Visual Merchandising or Fashion related degree.

• Proven ability to build strong working relationships internally and externally.
• Adept planning, prioritising and organising. Positively working to strict deadlines. 
• Appreciation of colour and imagery, attentive to detail and have spatial awareness. 
• Flexible to travel and undertake additional duties during busy periods.
• Friendly, helpful and approachable.
