REPORTS TO: Creative Director & CEO
As part of the Global Brand Marketing team, the Head of PR Maternity Cover will execute the PR & influencer strategy, working to build brand awareness and meet commercial objectives.
The role will include (but is not limited to):
- Maintain and build on PR strategy to ensure appropriate communication messaging, execution and maximum coverage reach.
- Manage the relationship with our PR agency and consultants as well as NYC team to ensure strategy is delivered
- Strategise, develop and pitch editorial across all media (long, short, online) for each collection and product launch as well as brand profiles both domestic and internationally.
- Build and maintain relationships with key press and remain informed on all upcoming stories and press opportunities.
- Coordinate the fulfilment of celebrity dressing and press outreach, develop and maintain stylist relationships, strategise award season dressing and exclusive / custom opportunities with Creative Director
- Oversee internal communication on all upcoming editorial and celebrity dressing.
- Oversee team to track and record press coverage and celebrity dressing
- Oversee gifting & influencer strategy with sr. marketing manager
- Sample management and editorial / dressing send-outs
- Liaise with wholesale team on PR regional outreach to maximise local market coverage.
- Special Events: execute and manage event strategy alongside senior marketing manager and with agency support from on-site operations to guest list, pr strategy, gifting, budget etc.
You
- Experience on the PR agency side and/or in-house PR in the luxury industry (6-8 years)
- Strong domestic and international press contacts
- Team player personality
- Ability to multi-task and function under pressure
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent organisational and communication skills with the ability to prioritise accordingly
