Vivienne Westwood is currently looking for a Digital and Editorial copywriter. The successful candidate will be responsible for writing content for our digital channels, including Email, PPC, social media, Vivienne Westwood website, Vivienne Westwood blog as well as printed material and internal comms.  

 

Main responsibilities include, but are not limited to: 

  • Understanding the brand positioning and associated tone of voice, keeping it consistent across multiple channels. 
  • Understanding the target audience and consumer mindset. 
  • Making sure the Vivienne Westwood website is up to date with the latest content. 
  • Working with the digital team and the PR and Marketing teams to create engaging content for both our organic and paid channels. 
  • Working in collaboration with the ecommerce content team making sure products’ descriptions are in line with the TOV as well as communicating the product features in the best possible way. 
  • Reviewing existing content and edit where necessary. 
  • Carrying out regular keyword research and proof all editorials to ensure these follow SEO best practice as well as brand narrative.  
  • Ensure that all copy and editorials adhere to brand guidelines. 
  • Being Vivienne Westwood TOV ambassador, making sure that all the content produced follow the required guidelines 

Email/CRM: 

  • Write subject lines, headlines and copy for our weekly newsletters.  
  • Being able to suggest A/B tests on subject lines, main body, CTA etc. 
  • Working on welcome emails, VIP and re-engagement programs content. 
  • Improve the content of our current emails. 
  • Being able to report on newsletter performance and come up with ideas on how to improve email KPIs 
  • Working in collaboration with other departments to write VW internal newsletter 

Social media  

  • Write daily/weekly captions for our organic posts across all our social media platforms 
  • Write headlines, body text, descriptions etc. for our social ecommerce ads. 

Blog 

  • Write monthly articles to publish on Vivienne Westwood blog in collaboration with marketing, comms and production team.  
  • Work in collaboration with the PR and Comm team to align online content with offline.  

 PPC 

  • Write compelling PPC ads. 
  • Being able to suggest new copy to A/B testing on a regular basis. 

SEO 

  • Reviewing and approving meta optimisation carried out by our SEO agency 
  • Developing content based on SEO keywords suggestions 

Profile: 

  • Editorial/copywriting background preferably with focus on Digital and SEO  
  • Excellent command of the English language and first-rate grammatical skills 
  • Experience repurposing existing copy to generate new or complementary content 
  • Able to work to tight deadlines  
  • Understanding of marketing touchpoints, UX and ecommerce  
  • A keen interest in fashion, art, sustainability, and design  
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work across teams  
  • Hands-on experience with CMS preferably WordPress and Salesforce
