PURPOSE OF THE JOB: The Jr. Merchandiser, will support the Merchandising Manager RTW in ensuring a global consistency in buying yet managing a tailored assortment by market in order to guarantee the correct balance between the full representation of the brand image and the optimization of sales results.

Within the Corporate Merchandising department, support the Merchandising Manager RTW in the following activities:
  • Trends and Competitors analysis
  • Seasonal briefing for Style Office and Product Team: provide benchmark, requests, highlight opportunities and translate company's targets into product development and collection segmentation
  • Defining seasonal collection and Retail Selection guideline (Guardaroba)
  • Central buying: providing markets with Master Selection and Master Orders (mandatory selection & quantity indication) for RTW regular collection and Capsule distribution in order to guarantee the alignment with corporate targets and goals (short and long term)
  • Support Markets to ensure consistency with buying guidelines during the buying campaign and before final submission
  • Support Training department with seasonal Launch Plan & specific Launch Deck
  • Business monitoring by channel/markets to optimize sales results and product flow among areas
  • Create a structured contact with markets to monitor the local situation and drive them in managing the business result

  • Solid analytic skills

  • Accuracy and attention to details
  • Strong communication and presentation skills
  • Strong personal interest for the luxury business
  • At least 2 years in Retail Merchandising or Planning
  • Degree in Economics
  • Fluent Italian, Fluent English, additional language knowledge as a plus
