JOB PURPOSE

Responsible for designing a complete WW Shoes collection in collaboration with the design team

RESPONSIBILITIES

• R esearch, design and develop new concepts for a collection
  
• Responsible for creating the 'design vision' for the collections
  
• Work collaboratively with cross functional teams to design and develop products that are fit for purpose for the customer, brand and business and generate the 'wow' factor
  
• Sketching of the collections and materials
  
• Development of all hardware for the collections
  
• Involved in the fittings and development of all prototypes and samples (including pre-production fittings)
  
• Partner with the Product Development teams. Work closely with the PD Managers to develop each category from initial concept through to finished product
  
• Responsible in working alongside the Merchandising teams. Cultivate effective working relationships
  
• Input and update an archive of reference material for all collections including sketches, fabrics, accessories, hardware and trim
  
• Work as part of a strong, dynamic design team to be market leaders
  
• Travelling to visit factories and ensuring standards are followed through and maintained
  

PERSONAL PROFILE

Degree in Fashion Design (BA or MA)

Strong concept, research and creative skills

Demonstrated passion and focus for WW Shoes

Excellent communication skills

Organised and team orientated

Strong hand sketching skills

Advanced Adobe skills (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign)

Fluency in English essential
