THE ROLE

FARFETCH Media Solutions operates at the intersection of luxury e-commerce and advertising. As the Media Solutions Media Strategy Manager you will support the sales team on pre-sale planning for digital campaigns. You will support the team by bringing your knowledge of the purchasing funnel, ad products, goals, and rates to build media plans that deliver to goal. You will report to the Senior Planning and Ops Manager.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

    • Be a primary stakeholder in brainstorm sessions with Sales; speak to our client's historical media spend/performance and product/packaging recommendations
    • Support Sales through the end-to-end media planning process, advise on media budget distribution across multiple ad products and platforms taking into consideration the FARFETCH suite of ad products, guidelines and best practices.
    • Create compelling media plans that increase revenue, accomplish client goals, maintain profit margin and comply with our business rules
    • Maintain an expert understanding of our ad products and capabilities and partner with related teams in all pre-sale efforts
    • Maintain campaign pipeline, managing orders in the system as they work their way down the sales funnel (reserve inventory, manage relation with inventory team, make necessary changes to impressions/products)
    • Ensure all campaign detail aligns between the media plan, IO, and Salesforce and maintain this alignment throughout the campaign pre-sale lifecycle
    • Attend weekly meetings with assigned sales/department leads and provide updates on the campaign pipeline.
    • Manage the communication of plan details to Planning and Ops to guarantee a seamless launch; be vocal with optimizations needed in flight to improve performance.


WHO YOU ARE

    • You have 2+ years of digital media experience
    • You have a background in marketing analysis, media and sales planning and strategy, yield/pricing. You have worked in publishing, digital advertising, or retail media
    • You are customer service oriented
    • Previous experience preferred: Salesforce, Adpoint, Google Ads Manager and Social Media Platforms
    • Experience performing complex excel functions
