FIGS is looking for a Principal Talent Acquisition Partner to join the People team. As a member of the team, you will be a key contributor in hiring specialized talent to work across functions including Engineering/IT, Digital Product and Business Operations. You will work as a key partner to functional stakeholders including team leads and hiring managers, developing strategies to approach, engage, and hire dynamic talent for FIGS.

We are looking for someone with experience recruiting for both technical and non-technical roles, and will work as a strategic talent advisor for their hiring teams. Our ideal candidate is agile, adaptable, and takes ownership creating an exceptional candidate experience. In this role, you will report directly into the Manager of Talent Acquisition.


What you'll do:
  • Partner with technology, data, product and business ops hiring teams to offer insights on recruitment and scalable sourcing and recruiting processes and best practices.
  • Lead full-cycle recruiting processes from initial outreach through offer, for simultaneous, complex searches
  • Own all candidate pre and post employment processing to ensure compliance with company policies and procedures (e.g., background administration, relocation authorizations, retaining of signed documentation).
  • Identify and analyze recruiting trends and metrics, incorporating findings into actionable, solutions oriented recruiting strategies. Track progress using data, drawing insights to make hiring processes more efficient, and inform strategic decision making.
  • Assist in developing and driving proactive and holistic recruiting strategies including advising on sourcing approach, channels, and evaluation methods.
  • Source, build pipelines, and actively recruit candidates through direct recruiting efforts - networking, social media, creative thinking and other proactive recruiting sources. Engage and activate strategies for passive candidates on their career growth potential, benefits, compensation philosophy and many advantages of working for FIGS; selling both the future growth in the organization and the opportunity.
  • Work closely with Talent Acquisition leadership on long-term initiatives to constantly improve processes across candidate experience, employer branding and recruiting operations.
  • Educate stakeholders and hiring teams from an informed point-of-view on the talent pool, interviewing best practices, assessment criteria, and the competitive market.
  • Partner and collaborate with the TA team on ways to bridge talent gaps, market activity and opportunity; articulate the right fit, empathize, address the needs of candidates/hiring managers and demonstrate willingness to achieve win-win in various situations.
  • Demonstrate and lead exceptional end-to-end candidate experience, striving for timely and impactful communications
  • Engage in clear communication (written, verbal, meetings) with business partners and hiring managers, establishing timelines, milestones, and expected outcomes

About you:
  • 8+ years full-cycle recruitment experience for both technical and non-technical roles
  • Experience identifying, qualifying, and closing high caliber talent
  • Successful track record building diverse teams and delivering an exceptional candidate experience
  • Knowledge with systems and tools that support sourcing, application tracking systems, data management / reporting, and workplace collaboration
  • Experience working within an ATS (Greenhouse preferred but not required)
