BPCM is seeking an experienced Senior Account Executive with experience in Beauty and a proven ability to successfully manage high profile, brands. Candidates must be highly organized and adept at multi-tasking, working in a fast paced, entrepreneurial environment, as well as possess strong communication skills. Build and maintain a strong understanding of the editorial calendar, current events, pop culture, seasonal and celebrity trends to effectively and proactively contribute to story angle development that is strategic and timely, maximizing brand feature and product placement opportunities across national, regional, online, trade and broadcast outlets 

Candidates must also exhibit strong writing and presentation skills, and proficiencies in Powerpoint/deck presentations to effectively articulate ideas to clients, agency principals and colleagues. Candidate experience working with both smaller independent brands as well as a global, corporate luxury brands is preferred.

Exhibit strong writing, communication, and presentation skills 

Manage and develop AAE(s) that report into role

Invest heavily in team growth and development 

Media and Influencer Relations  

Ability to align press and influencer initiatives with business goals of brands/clients 

Expert at maintaining ongoing relationships with members of top-tier media and influencers

Monitors media and reports on client relevant news and trends 

Identifies press opportunities via media monitoring 

Successfully place stories for product and brand spokespeople in media outlets such as bloggers, online, long-lead and short lead media, as directed by supervisors 

Contributes to media strategy development and in some cases, leads media strategy development to align with client directed objectives 

Plan and execute PR events (Product Launches, Partnerships, Store Openings, etc.) 

Ensure that key milestones and projects are on track, within prescribed timelines and on budget 

Generate creative ideas and solutions to everyday problems and challenges 

Proficient in PowerPoint, Excel, Word, Cision, etc. 

Client Relations 

Exceptional interpersonal and relationship-building skills; adept at developing rapport with clients to maintain strong working relationships 

Ability to clearly articulate thoughts and communicate effectively with clients in-person and on Calls 

Responds to all appropriate client requests promptly with enthusiasm and accuracy 


Oversee press credit analysis and reporting according to client preference 

Oversee assistants capture of press and influencer via Cision, Meltwater news, Google Alerts and other 3rd party services as well as manual reporting  


Drafts and contributes to all necessary press releases and client materials that span brand messaging and positioning as directed 

Creation, maintenance and timely distribution of editorial reports, press clippings and budgetary tracking documents

About you 

Possess a true passion for beauty 

Strong organizational skills 

Minimum of 3-5 years of experience at a PR agency or in-house working on campaigns with top beauty brands
