SUMMARY

Alexander Wang LLC is seeking an entry level Human Resources Assistant to support the HR team in providing cross-functional business partners with accurate, timely and positive assistance for our rapidly growing global business. Our team is comprised of creative and specialized professionals with innovative and forward-thinking members. Our HR Assistant must have an aptitude for learning new skills, affable personality, eagerness to help others, possess great computer and technical skills and be curious about a career path in Human Resources. The successful candidate will be team and business oriented.

 

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Assist in the day-to-day operation of the HR office.
  • Maintain HR filing systems, archive memos, file training and other essential documents
  • Assist with the implementation of training, policies and programs
  • Schedule and setup conference rooms in preparation for trainings and meetings includes audio visual requirements in partnership with IT
  • Provide customer service functions by fielding employee requests and questions
  • Support new employee onboarding process, including but not limited to, verifying I-9 supporting documentation
  • Conduct reference checks
  • Assist in company-wide communications
  • Assist HR team with various research projects and/or special projects
  • Work on engagement initiatives and provide setup support accordingly
  • Schedule meetings as requested by VP HR
  • Help to Manage calendar of VP of HR- send reminders accordingly
  • Makes copies, scans documents and perform other clerical functions
  • Support intern groups and assist in the facilitation of internship programs and initiatives.
  • Work with international offices on HR related matters in partnership with HR team members

 

REQUIREMENTS

  • 1-2 years' experience
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Strong computer and technical skills – Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Interest in Human Resources career path
  • Open to working hybrid work schedule – Mondays and Wednesdays in office
