Job Details

The FP&A Analyst primarily provides finance support for Jewelry Supply operations. Manufacturing operations include the production facilities domestically and internationally, including the purchase of raw metal, fabricated metal, components and finished goods. The role will focus on delivering accurate and insightful budgeting, forecasting, and analytics to support effective operational decision-making.

Key Accountabilities

Forecasting, Budgeting, and Reporting
  • Support annual budgeting and forecasting processes for total incurred costs of the Jewelry Supply division
  • Deliver and present accurate and insightful analytics to support effective operational decision making
  • Prepare and interpret monthly reporting including operational measurements, metal purchases and hedging, inventory, capital, and total operational costs
  • Work closely with facility finance and accounting managers to understand and improve financials for relevance and accuracy
  • Support the division leads through financial reporting, modeling, analysis, and cost updates
  • Prepare and analyze monthly dashboard of performance KPIs
  • Complete monthly presentation slides for senior management

Strategic Financial Projects
  • Perform various modeling and scenario analyses to support key strategic Jewelry Supply decision making
  • Long Range Plan support
  • Develop and improve expansion and R&D projects and provide updates and analysis to senior management
  • Build capital investment business cases and measuring the return
  • Ad hoc work related to senior management requests and points of strategic interest

Process Improvement Initiatives
  • Enhance analytical tools and methodologies for increased automation and efficiency

Safety
  • Demonstrate safety leadership by adherence to workplace safety policies and procedures. Recognize and positively reinforce good safety behaviors while delivering immediate, specific and constructive feedback to employees who demonstrate unsafe work behavior.

Required Qualifications
  • BA/BS in Accounting or Finance
  • Minimum 3-5 years of relevant accounting/finance experience
  • Demonstrated leadership experience
  • Strong verbal, written and presentation communication skills
  • Demonstrated ability to adapt to changing priorities
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office software with advanced excel skills
  • Willing to work flexible hours

Preferred Qualifications
  • CPA certification and/or MBA degree
  • Prior experience at Big 4 accounting firm and/or bulge bracket investment bank
  • Hyperion financial software knowledge
  • Business Objects software knowledge
