Having successfully operated as an Account Director and delivered outstanding clients results through highly developed team leadership, the role of Senior Account Director is the next step towards senior PR roles.

 

The role of a Senior Account Director is to the success of client outcomes but also within the agency operation too.  Through experience at all levels this role allows the role holder to identify and suggest improvements utilising a wider business point of view.

 

Key areas of responsibility are;

  • Ability to deliver all account management activities at an expert level as well as support other employees to achieve high performance in their role and provide expert crisis management support when required
  • Take the opportunity to attend events to represent the brand and ensure KO is visible within the industry and new business opportunities can be identified
  • Build, nurture and maintain senior level relationships with key contacts in the wider  industry network
  • Identify and build a solid commercial strategy relating to the use of additional integrated and global KO services
  • Build global relationships with international offices to harness the strength of global expertise
  • Create opportunities to be recognised as a leading voice in the industry; demonstrate credibility and communicate with authority
  • Take a commercial approach to internal and external decision making
  • Take lead on building and developing a high performing team through recruitment, performance reviews and development practices
  • Recognised as a senior relationship builder with both clients and press
  • Articulate the commercial vision of their client through innovative activities and shares knowledge throughout their team to enable their team to achieve against the objectives too
  • Engage in department and agency initiatives as needed
  • Possess good understanding of all internal communications strategies, tools and systems to ensure alignment with overall brand messaging. Able to drive both internal and external communications when needed
  • Acquire knowledge and skills to work with Fashion GPS within all relevant areas (sample trafficking, events, shows, database)
  • Builds relationships with support functions to drive collaborative working and efficiencies

Key Attributes 

  • Extensive and proven experience in a Senior PR role within a luxury fashion environment
  • Strong managerial and organisational skills
  • Solid understanding of and ongoing interest in the (luxury) fashion industry as well as other cultural events
  • Leads by example on all business practices: Paprika expenses and timesheets
  • A responsive and understanding approach to client management
  • Creative and strategic thinker
  • Able to identify communication opportunities through a pro-active approach
  • Proven experience of working in a fast paced environment
  • Ability to work to tight deadlines
  • Excellent prioritising and time management
  • Discreet, professional and articulate, with excellent communication skills
  • Extremely well-organised, methodical and efficient, with a good dose of common sense and initiative
  • Strong presentation  and superb writing skills
  • A visionary and opportunistic approach to new business development
  • Strong computer skills including Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint, Fashion GPS
  • Must be eligible to work in the UK
