About the Role

Gap Inc's New Ventures team is part of the Strategic Growth Office ("SGO"), which is at the forefront of driving our next chapter of growth. As a part of New Ventures, you will identify, stand up, and build strategic partnerships and enable capabilities with the goal of diversifying Gap Inc's revenue streams. This includes developing partnership strategies with key stakeholders, scoping potential partnerships, negotiating contracts, designing test plans and markets, developing relations, and supporting the rollout and ongoing growth of these opportunities. You will work closely with operations, finance, marketing, sales, and other departments to bring nascent ideas to life. Your entrepreneurial spirit and thought leadership will enable the SGO to ideate, validate, and execute on our vision. The Sr. Manager of New Ventures will report to the Sr. Director of New Ventures.

What You'll Do

WHAT YOU'LL DO:
  • Assist in developing, testing, and launching new products / capabilities
  • Envision new ways for the SGO to positively impact core business objectives through products, services, partnerships, etc.
  • strategically and financially evaluate the feasibility of new SGO opportunities
  • Build and maintain meaningful relationships with key stakeholders and potential partners, supporting projects from ideation to execution
  • Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to launch offerings in a dynamic, technology-driven environment and motivate teams to bring our future vision to life

WHO YOU ARE:
  • Minimum 7+ years of strategy, general management, and/or consulting experience. MBA preferred
  • An entrepreneurial individual with a proven track record of validating and bringing new ideas and/or partnerships to life
  • A true problem solver who can navigate ambiguity by using assumptions and data to validate ideas from strategic, brand, financial, and operational perspectives
  • Dynamic, self-starter comfortable with project based work; player-coach mindset
  • Demonstrated communication and presentation skills, with the capability of engaging others at different levels of the organization
  • Experienced at executing multiple strategic initiatives and day-to-day priorities concurrently; able to navigate and close opportunities across a diverse set of requirements
  • Build and scale the long-term vision for SGO through strategic projects aimed at diversifying and innovating revenue streams
  • Keep a pulse on competitive and industry trends
