SUMMARY

The Sales Manager, North America is responsible for the management of key accounts for the Carolina Herrera New York luxury RTW business to build and nurture relationships with wholesale partners with the ambition to exceed sales targets, and promote and grow the brand and business.

 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned as necessary

  • Build strategic sales plans and forecasts for assigned accounts in partnership with the VP of Sales. Strive to meet and exceed short and long term targets through best in class account support in market and day to day account engagement.
  • Develop account support strategy to drive in season sell out performance.
  • Partner with Carolina Herrera marketing team to build optimized co-op marketing plans to align with brand and business objectives.
  • Plan and execute seasonal markets in New York based showroom location. Prepare and partner with accounts on OTB, sales targets. Lead market appointments with major accounts and specialty stores. Partner with buyers on optimizing assortments based on current and historical sales data.
  • Partner with the Carolina Herrera Customer service and logistics team to ensure all orders are entered and updated adhering to deadlines.
  • Create and nurture strong partner relationships through regular communication, providing support and solutions for all customer service needs with a sense of urgency.
  • Create seasonal training tools and plan and execute in person trainings in key locations.
  • Support the planning and execution of brand events with partners ensuring brand standards are respected and financial targets are set and achieved.
  • Travel to local accounts weekly, regional accounts quarterly to ensure brand standards are being met, share product knowledge updates and information, connect with teams, and gather brand and competitive feedback. Create reports summarizing insights to share with the management team.
  • Build and analyze weekly selling reports to monitor KPIs and transform insights into action.
  • Oversee and monitor the information flow to wholesale .com partners to ensure brand site representation is accurate and up to date to optimize sales results

 

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Must have a minimum of 5 years’ experience in women’s RTW Wholesale Sales. Luxury experience preferred.
  • Highly energetic self-starter, able to think outside the box and work independently as well as in teams
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Proven track record of managing large department store accounts as well as specialty stores, of increased sales revenue, and delivering/exceeding sales targets.
  • Must be flexible and have the ability to adapt to an ever-changing business
  • Possess a clear understanding of financial measurements and how to impact them
  • Ability to build and maintain relationships with partners.
  • Thorough knowledge of industry and market conditions, expertise on brand and product.
  • Strong analytical skills and fluency in retail math and proficient in Excel
  • Must be able to travel frequently.
