The Department & Team

The Tommy Hilfiger global & PVH EMEA visual merchandising, display & windows department is a creative hub within omni-channel organization. This department oversees the creative strategy, development, and execution of product presentation across Tommy Hilfiger global, Calvin Klein EMEA, and heritage brand and all points of sale. This includes full price retail stores, franchise locations, wholesale shop-in-shops, concession, and outlet channels. The Tommy Hilfiger global team sets global direction and works collaboratively with two other regional hubs in: New York and Hong Kong. To extend this outreach the team is set-up to also support the needs of local markets across Americas, EMEA, and Asia Pacific. This team works in parallel with the global marketing team on a 360 concept and consumer messaging approach. The Calvin Klein regional team collaborates with the New York global headquarters on adapted direction to support the EMEA business needs. This includes visual merchandising, campaign roll out, and display strategies across the region. This team works in collaboration with numerous functions across the omni-channel business as well as local markets. The team environment is collaborative, dynamic, innovative, resourceful, open and respectful.

The Tommy Hilfiger global & PVH EMEA visual merchandising, display & windows teams are responsible for creating and communicating all Visual Merchandising tools including all seasonal guidelines, principles, and training tools for all divisions across the Tommy Hilfiger global, Calvin Klein EMEA, and heritage brands. Tools that will help provide a look and feel that represent both brands and protects its core DNA and ensures that retail/franchise stores, shop-in-shops, and outlets are delivering premium consumer experience through dynamic product presentation. This is supported by strong collaboration with store concept & design, marketing, merchandising, markets and all areas of the omni-channel team to ensure that the omni-channel visual merchandising, display, and windows strategy, the countries and point of sale needs are met.

The Position

TheManager Window Analytics & Market Insights, TH Globalreports into the Senior Director Window Concept Design, TH Global and is part of the global windows team. In this role you will partner closely with all market leads, managing & monitoring the collection of all windows data. You will be an integral partner to the Window Concept & Development and Window activation teams, ensuring they are up-to-date with the latest market & windows data. Through strong collaboration with the Store Concept & Window Concept & Development team, you will define & drive the implementation of the ideal window box, ensuring that window concepts can be implemented with maximum effectiveness.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage and monitor the global window master data, partnering closely with each region (EMEA, Americas and APAC) on the evolving store projects and lists
  • Drive monthly and seasonal reporting by sourcing data from markets and share regularly across team to maximize window roll-out impact.
  • Build strong relationship with the markets by connecting regularly and understanding the global needs
  • Partner with the global regions to track and monitor the markets needs and limitations, ensuring the wider team is equipped with this information to drive concept effectiveness
  • Drive the collection of technical details, including site surveys and technical drawings of all existing windows/facades
  • Define & drive the ideal TH window box projects for existing and new store roll outs and refits, partnering closely with the Store Development, Store Concept, Windows team and markets
  • Drive evolution of non-seasonal window process in strong collaboration with Window Activation team, ensuring the market needs are integrated
  • Partner closely with Senior Manager, Window Concept & Development on various non-seasonal topics, ensuring data is distributed through the right channels
  • Partner on all extraordinary wholesale projects, by ensuring availability of technical data to inform Window Activation team
  • Build day-to-day working relationships with Senior Manager, Window Concept & Development & Manager, Window Activation
  • Partner closely with wider Windows, VM & Communications and the Commercial Teams on various seasonal projects

The Ideal Candidate description
  • Educational requirements: University Graduate or above, preferably in engineering, technical design, project management or business development
  • Approximately 5 - 7 years' relevant experience, including at least an experience of working with stakeholder management
  • Previous experience in eCom and/or Retail and/or Omnichannel or within an end consumer focused, fast changing, new technology driven environment
  • Experience both in project management with a track record of driving cross-functional, high change impact programs and strategies
  • Able to work with a high degree of autonomy across the team
  • Outstanding people and relationship skills to be able to interact with various stakeholders across the organization, across all levels and culture
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written (in English)
  • Proficiency in Adobe creative suite applications, AutoCad is a plus
  • Practical skills for supporting in-store window installations and conducting site surveys
  • Strong organizational skills with meticulous attention to detail
  • Ability to manage and switch between projects and work streams
  • Ability to combine creative thinking with forward thinking planning

  • Global experience working with various cultures and a multi-cultural organization
