Vestiaire Collective is looking for a Head of Copy , to join the Brand & Marketing team, bringing the Brand's tone of voice to the next level and be the guardian of all its written communications.

This is a full-time role based preferably in our Paris office (but NYC or London offices could also be considered) and reporting to the Creative Director.

What you'll do

Sitting within the Creative Factory, this senior role offers the opportunity to lead a team of copywriters and translators and set up the tone of voice of one of the most exciting second hand luxury fashion retailers in the World.

Occupying a pivotal role in the business, the Head of Copy will be responsible for collecting briefs from our channel owners (Onsite, CRM, Social, PR & Paid Advertising) and for translating them into stand-out, consistent brand communications with the help of his/her copywriting team.

Collaborating closely with the Business, Marketing & Brand teams, the Head of Copy will be instrumental in launching successful branding campaigns, developing 360 brand storytelling, delivering distinctive and inspiring institutional communications and key messages.

Tasks will include:
  • Own and develop our unique, witty and unapologetic brand tone of voice, bringing it to life in a relevant manner, on each of our touchpoints.

  • Translate our set of key messages into strong commercial, corporate and social messages.

  • Inspire and lead a team of copywriters, help them perform and deliver content and campaigns at their highest levels.

  • Build and maintain copywriting systems for our business: Create a multilingual database including tone of voice definitions, key messages, franchise names and written concepts, regularly updated.

  • Bring an interesting range of copywriting styles to Vestiaire Collective, with relevant styles of copywriting for PR, Commercial and Social moments.

  • Help Vestiaire Collective on its global positioning, become the voice of our company, carry our mission and help us revolutionize the fashion industry for good.

  • Able to come up with a distinctive TOV style that will become a trademark for the brand

  • Find a system of copywriting fit for a e-commerce platforms CRM

Who you are

The ideal candidate will justify a strong experience in heading a copywriting team in advertising, editorial content or fashion e-commerce platforms.

Able to evolve in a very fast paced environment, and willing to shape our brand with a strong sense of formula, our ideal candidate will be able to find the right tone for commercial and institutional moments, and be a strong and collaborative team member.

You have at least 8 years of experience in a comparable position in website publishing, editorial content creation or advertising (agency or brand). You have experience working on tone of voice executions and messaging strategy for renowned brands. You are a process driven manager, able to organize briefs worldwide You possess a solid understanding of 360 Marketing in the e-commerce world. You are bilingual in French and English. And last, but not least- you have a strong knowledge and passion for sustainability and ethical fashion.
