THE ROLE

Reporting to the Head of Categories & NGG Digital Brands, the Jewellery Category Manager is responsible for the long-term success of the category, as well as the daily trading and visibility of the category across the Farfetch ecosystem. The role will be dealing with many different regional teams (such as APAC, US, Middle East) and functions (from Marketing, to Operations, Finance, Content, and Planning) and will be interacting with both internal and external stakeholders as the Jewellery specialist within Farfetch and in the market.

What You'll Do:

    • You will work with teams internally (Marketing, Operations, Technology) on ongoing opportunities for the category growth and development, as well as with Commercial partner-facing teams (Business Development and Account Management)
    • You will define the supply strategy for the category and unlock the right product assortment from our supply partners, both Brands via our E-concession model and Multi-brand stores, including a close collaboration with Browns to ensure the assortment strategy is aligned within the Group
    • You will build and maintain outstanding Partner relationships through effective communication and reporting by creating internal company and partner-facing presentations
    • You will coordinate 360 brand marketing campaign around new product launches (paid media) and oversee organic marketing initiatives to optimise trading performance
    • You will be the key point of contact for the Private Client (VIP) team with whom you will contribute to: support personal stylists globally through category & brand trainings, elevate that customer segment through facilitating high-value transactions and money-can't-buy experiences2, pitch Farfetch Private Client proposal (including Fashion Concierge) to Brands
    • Work closely with the Category Analyst to ensure business decisions are underpinned with data insights, and leverage those data to support Jewellery partnerships' commercial growth
    • You will be responsible for the category trade and P&L, and accountable for its success


Who You Are:

    • Jewellery expert including a competent understanding of the market segments (fine vs demi-fine vs fashion vs pre-owned), regional nuances, players and supply channel dynamics
    • Commercially minded, with a strong focus on business development and growth with ability to work towards metrics and targets
    • Client-focused ability to pitch Farfetch to prospective brand clients & sell the dream of what partnering with Farfetch looks like
    • Strong planning and organisational skills, with an expertise to manage cross-functional projects and influence cross-functional/cross-country teams
    • Strong stakeholder management, and an ability to influence senior stakeholders internally and externally
    • Knowledge of Excel (you can maintain complex spreadsheets) and PowerPoint (to create engaging presentations)
