The Team

The Real-time Customer data & Activation (RCA) team is a young and growing team that aims to make data from different sources available to the PVH Ecommerce (and Retail) department in real-time to enable customer-focused use cases. These use cases will increase the customer's lifetime value and improve customer experience, helping PVH transform from a traditional fashion wholesaler with D2C channels to a consumer-led, multi-channel, fashion player with a data-driven and test-&-learn way of working.

The Position

As a Data Engineer, you will report to the manager of the Realtime Customer data & Activation (RCA) team and will assist in managing and optimizing the RCA data platform, including the RCA data warehouse. You will work in a multidisciplinary international team of of data scientists, data warehouse developers and business analysts and collaborate with different business stakeholders. This will include analyzing huge amount of data and building end-to-end integrated solutions between different source systems and platforms. Our team is young, enthusiastic, dynamic, and pragmatic. Key Responsibilities
  • Develop, maintain and optimize the RCA platform, including data lakes for data retrieval, storage and distribution within and across other data platforms and/or applications
  • Be a driver to discuss and propose technical innovations and improvements to the platform
  • Ensure data reliability, efficiency and quality and identify ways to improve it
  • Liaise with other tech leads, architects and communities to ensure knowledge sharing
  • Improve speed of new releases (continuous delivery) by collaborating with the data science, engineering, reporting and support teams
  • Guide standardization on the big data platform
  • Coordinate with cross-functional team members and to work in an agile way


The Ideal Candidate
  • Master degree or equivalent in Information Technology, Computer Science, or other related education
  • 3+ years of work experience in data engineering
  • 2+ years of work experience with GCP cloud solutions for analytics & infra
  • Certified as an GCP Data Engineer and/or GCP Architect
  • Experience with CI/CD, Terraform, Containerization, Gitlab
  • Experience with GCP security/access management
  • Advanced knowledge of SQL & Python Language
  • Good understanding of AI & Machine Learning Aspects & ML Ops
  • Strong troubleshooting and debugging skills, with a passion for problem solving and investigation
  • Good English communication skills; the ability to convey complex analysis results clearly and with conviction to all levels of stakeholders
  • A pro active, self-learning & results driven team player
  • Ability to work effectively in a team, as well as work independently on individual tasks
