The Public Relations & Marketing position will support the department in driving the brand’s overall awareness through daily communication with the media to generate high quality coverage.


  • Identify, manage, and cultivate editor and stylist relationships;
  • Support in the development of press, VIP, and influencer target lists, while maintaining, organizing, and updating existing lists;
  • Disseminate press releases to media to support news, product launches, and VIP dressing, while supporting press outreach initiatives including seasonal collection reviews and pitching editorial story coverage;
  • Maintain seasonal sample sets and manage both internal and external requests;
  • Assess, coordinate, and track all editorial samples loans and VIP dressing requests from initial outreach to final press coverage;
  • Timely, thorough, and accurate communication regarding collection sample requests, hi-res image requests and credit requests;
  • Timely packing, sending and return coordination of all incoming and outgoing PR samples; Ensure showroom, sample closet, and archive closets are organized;
  • Compile timely reporting and press monitoring, drawing actionable suggestions from various metrics and proposing new ideas;
  • Manage all brand gifting initiatives and trade agreements;
  • Coordinate Founder Prabal Gurung speaking engagements and interview requests, inclusive of compiling briefing docs, speaking notes, and scheduling with his team;
  • Assist with event organization, logistics and on-site responsibilities, inclusive of Fashion Week presentation and shows, press days, and other red-carpet initiatives, from planning to execution to reporting;


  • Write and edit copy for digital content such as social media, emails, and blogs;
  • Own organic social calendars and posting for brand - organize and schedule digital content and posts, create copy, and field incoming interdepartmental requests;
  • Community manage, monitor, and moderate discussions/comments on social media pages and suggest responses that work with each platform’s best practices;
  • Review partnership content approvals with a strong understanding of internal brand and legal guidelines;
  • Coordinate and assist on production of all e-commerce and editorial shoots including scheduling, sample management, and distributing assets;


  • Monitor and report on competitor brand activity, as well as culturally relevant events, VIPs, and other tentpole moments;
  • Compile and execute internal and external reports including weeklies, monthlies, seedings, special projects, and event recaps;
  • Train interns to assist PR office with daily logistic needs;
  • Responsible for restocking Communications & Marketing office with sample trafficking materials;


  • Bachelor’s Degree with major in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, Journalism or related disciplines and at least 1-3 years' experience in the fashion industry, preferably in marketing, public relations or related disciplines;
  • Sample trafficking experience either at a fashion brand or on the agency side;
  • Working knowledge of fashion media and experience working with stylists and editors;
  • Strong understanding of and interest in the major social media platforms and their best practices, including Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, TikTok, etc. and scheduling software;
  • Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills, as well as strong written and verbal skills Appreciation and understanding of the fashion industry;
  • Must be highly organized, detailed oriented and able to work in a fasted paced environment;
  • Organizational skills and the ability to multitask, handling several projects at once and meeting tight deadlines;
  • Resourcefulness, detail-oriented, proactive, and creative, with possession of a strong work ethic and high level of confidentiality;
  • Proficiency in Adobe, Microsoft Office, iWork and Launchmetrics samples, mailings, and reporting;
  • Ability to work occasional early mornings, late nights and weekends;
