Chief Enterprise Architect & Data Analytics

Tiffany IT is going through a big digital transformation aiming to reduce the large and complex legacy applications footprint and implementing a more modern and fit-for-purpose technical stack for Tiffany & Co.

To accomplish this transformation, Tiffany is seeking a Chief Enterprise Architect & Data Analytics who will lead the overall architecture of all technology solutions and own and manage the technology governance processes. Responsible for communicating and evolving the company's enterprise architecture as well as data and analytics. Addressing key enterprise aspects - including organizational structure, business processes and strategies, value streams, data, and information, and supporting technologies - and how they fit together and are expected to evolve over time. Additionally, the Chief Enterprise Architect & Data Analytics will also be responsible for driving the overall strategy and implementation of modern data platforms and visualization tools and partnering with the business to build data products.

The right candidate will need to demonstrate very strong business and technology acumen, especially in the CPG and retail industry. Demonstrate deep knowledge of cross functional technologies: ERP, eCommerce, CRM, retail systems, APIs technologies like Mulesoft. The Chief Enterprise Architect & Data Analytics will provide the right guidance between SaaS, PaaS and cloud hosting for each one of the business applications.

Must have a strong background on cloud base big data platforms like, GCP and Azure and being able to demonstrate experience in transitioning from legacy traditional data warehouses and reporting tools to modern data and visualization products like LookR and Power BI.

Create an enterprise data governance process, partnering with the various IT leaders and business counterparts. This role will lead a team of 15-20 IT professionals.

Responsibilities:

• Design the specifications, models, and guidelines for an architectural blueprint to meet user and technology requirements. Drive improvement and simplification of the underlying architectures and capabilities of the technology. Drive innovation within the solution set by applying new technology and facilitating the development of software interactions, connections, and transactions.
• Collaborate with key stakeholders to understand the market requirements, ensure successful architectural design, support development and delivery of products, and implement systematic leveraging and reuse of enterprise components. Ensure all stakeholders understand the vision state and the approach to achieving the technology roadmap.
• Ensure that proper organizational structure is in place to meet assigned responsibilities & deliverables in this area. Develop and manage team ensuring that proper guidance and support is provided. Foster collaboration with peers in global IT and any linked cross-functional department.
• Responsible for migrating the legacy and AWS data warehouses to GCP and transitioning to new visualization tools.
• Establish a data and analytics community within Tiffany to ensure data governance, building data products and self-service capabilities.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree and/or relevant experience
• 10+ years of experience in enterprise architecture
• 5+ years of experience in data analytics
• Ability to use architecture models and frameworks to support business and technology design decisions
• Knowledge of enterprise and application design patterns
• Master of architecture governance, design authority processes, and overall solution design management processes

Preferred:

• Master's degree in technology
