Job Details

The Public Relations and Communications Manager will be responsible for leading brand communication channels, earned media, and Influencer strategy as well as digital and broadcast media outreach and PR events in Canada. In conjunction with the events team and PR agency, they develop compelling PR content, events, presentations and programs that engage the media, create brand buzz, and drive desirability for Tiffany and its collections. They will secure organic coverage of Tiffany news and new collections through product placement and editorial features and collaborate on integrations.

Responsibilities:
  • Develop and execute public relations programs aligned with the overall PR strategy and North America goals
  • Generate positive publicity through digital, social, editorial, and broadcast channels, influencers, and media events
  • Lead communication during Tiffany & Co activations, collaborations, product launches, and brand campaigns
  • Collaborate in developing event concepts and press presentations that drives coverage
  • Identify new outlets, develop and foster relationships with broadcast, digital and print media
  • Identify and build relationships with prominent local influencers and thought leaders for tactical social media opportunities as well as longer term strategic opportunities
  • Serve as PR team's point person for all things related to the Tiffany Newsroom
  • Specifically manage Tiffany representation across top digital outlets with a focus on DMR ranked outlets to promote key initiatives and moments
  • Point of contact for all digital press and responsible for disseminating all press materials securing coverage both proactively and reactively
  • Manage broadcast PR opportunities
  • Foster existing and develop new relationships with broadcast and digital media, identify new outlets
  • Leverage media buying opportunities and collaborate with media team on custom content and added value programs

Qualifications:
  • 7+ years of Media Relations/PR experience with a focus on luxury goods or jewelry, preferably within an agency
  • Experienced in luxury retail marketing with the poise and manner to represent Tiffany & Co internally and externally
  • Strong understanding of communication & marketing channels as well as current luxury landscape
  • Passion for innovation & creative communications; desire to lead brand through transformation and drive regional brand buzz and desirability
  • Ability to seamlessly work with cross-functional teams and agency stakeholders
  • Willing to travel to support regional activations as needed
  • Technical Proficiency with Microsoft Office
  • Creative thinking, persuasive selling through good understanding of media relations
  • Ability to manage budgets on multiple projects at once
  • Undergraduate college degree
  • Non-traditional work hours including nights and weekends when necessary
  • Well organized with strong attention to detail
  • Ability to manage and operate under tight deadlines
