As HR Manager for our logistics site in Lahr, you are the competent contact person for employees, managers and the works council in all personnel and labor law matters. Together with your team, you will shape the site culture through talent management and organizational development and take not only your career, but Zalando to the next level.

Our bilingual logistics centre in Lahr is Zalando's newest and most modern processing centre in Germany. Opened in 2015 and covering an area of 130,000 sqm, the centre sets new standards for the industry as well as the network and combines latest generation infrastructure with smart thinking and great team cohesion. As part of the largest logistics network in the European fashion industry, we process and ship thousands of orders every day - to customers all over Europe.

  • You will advise our executive and specialist staff in all individual and collective legal matters as well as on human resources issues.
  • You will work constructively with our works council and support them in negotiations and company agreements.
  • You understand key figures and people data. You prepare them in order to analyse challenges and trends and to define an action plan.
  • You will lead and implement HR projects, support change processes including the implementation of new HR tools and technologies to better support our executive staff and employees.
  • You have at least 3 years experience as a Business Partner or similar position in a large company (preferably in Supply Chain, Logistics or Production) including extensive experience in the areas of organization development and talent management.
  • You act as a sparring partner for the executive staff, you like to inspire others with facts, figures and a good dose of optimism and courage. And if you find solutions, even under tight deadlines.
  • You have good knowledge of German labour law and company law. Experience in working with a works council and a reliable, enthusiastic, assertive way of working that is not afraid to get down to business.
  • You have excellent communication skills and customer orientation.
  • You have very good German language skills and a good command of English.
  • You have a talent for organization and a taste for human contact.
