tasc is looking for a Visual Designer that has genuine passion for design and creative culture. This position will produce designs across a variety of formats, platforms and environments including graphics, visual identities, and websites, traditional media, social media, physical store environments and more. The ideal candidate would have experience at a direct-to-consumer brand and have knowledge of an omni-channel approach.  

The Visual Designer will create visuals and focus on the overall creative strategy for the brand. This position will report to the Art Director and will collaborate with internal teams, cross functional design and media agencies to ensure holistic storytelling and brand look and feel.

Job Responsibility 

  • Be accountable for the quality of fast-turn, day-to-day creative assets and long-term, strategic projects.
  • Produce digital advertisements, product campaigns and public relations material for visual communications.
  • Create website graphics for all aspects of the site to align with current campaigns. 
  • Develop campaign concepts for various product launches.
  • Design weekly marketing emails. 
  • Developing ideas and strategies that show insight and innovation for the tasc story. 
  • Regularly scour the digital marketplace to stay informed on emerging tech, industry trends, and best practices.
  • Assist with campaign photography projects by funneling the visions of the brand. 
  • Collaborate with other departments including design, product, marketing and third-party agencies such as copywriters, media buyers to make all projects a creative success. 
  • Contribute to the brand strategy including, creating ideas that demonstrate insight and innovation; solutions that engage audiences; and expressions of thinking in words or images.

Requirements, Skills & Experience 

  • Bachelor’s degree, preferably in graphic design, marketing, advertising, journalism, public relations, communications or a related field. 
  • At least 3+ years of related design and consumer brand experience. 
  • High taste level and eye for design
  • Advanced knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite. 
  • Being capable of taking responsibility for owning, shaping, developing and delivering creative projects.
  • Experience developing a variety of content, including but not limited to blog articles, social media campaigns, e-mail marketing copy, videos, etc. 
  • Knowledge of content marketing principles including social media, digital marketing strategies and best practices. 
  • Must be comfortable on camera and shooting and posting videos, stories.
