JOB PURPOSE

The Manager Strategy & Excellence (RTW), will facilitate the successful delivery of the Burberry Supply Chain Ready-to-Wear transformation; improving the agility, effectiveness and performance of the Burberry business.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Manage projects from a true end to end perspective:
  • Input industry knowledge and promote best practice
  • Scope definition and refinement
  • Build business case; qualitative and quantitative
  • Ensuring alignment to the Supply Chain/Company objectives
  • Gaining business buy in/sign off to the project
  • Creating/Managing the project team
  • Setting up managing governance structures
  • Creating/Sign Off for Project Initiation, Execution and Support
  • Developing & Managing Project Delivery Plan
  • Managing Key Risks/Issues (at project and programme level)
  • Communicating to all levels of business
  • Supporting change management process
  • Post Go-Live Support/Transition Planning
  • KPI tracking including Benefit Tracking & Measurement


PERSONAL PROFILE

  • Experience in implementing change in big organisations and / or big program delivery
  • End to end understanding of Supply Chain processes and the value created for customer / consumer
  • Working knowledge of the upstream supply chain (sourcing, manufacture, FG's/RM's, supply planning, etc.) would be highly advantageous
  • Understanding of luxury fashion, particularly Apparel
  • Strong time management to balance priorities
  • Strong analytical profile, able to conduct sound analyses to guide discussions
  • Strong data visualisation and PowerPoint skills to produce impactful and meaningful decks to support discussions and document decisions and analyses, and create organisational collateral
  • Able to prepare and conduct cross-functional meetings independently
