As part of the Merchandising, Planning & Analytics team, you will work with key brands on Farfetch to maximise stock/assortment opportunities by providing support with pre-season buying and in-season analytics. Specifically, you will be responsible, with the support of senior colleagues, for developing the analytical tools to capture the insights that will drive business decisions and support day-to-day activities for both our customer-facing team and external partners.

You will also be involved in the development and execution of strategic projects to improve our assortment and define commercial priorities in the short and long term, like developing and maintaining Farfetch's range plan and brand portfolio.

As any member of the Merch Planning & Analytics team, you will closely collaborate with other teams within commercial (E-concession, Business Development, Online Merchandising, Pricing, Supply) and with colleagues from Marketing, Product, Operations and Data Science.

What You'll Do:

    • Develop dashboards and reports (working with our Business Intelligence team) to monitor sales, stock and pricing KPIs at different levels (e.g., brand, product category, regions)
    • Produce relevant action-driven insights to be shared with key teams to drive business decisions and inform company-wide trade meetings
    • Refresh and update sales planning/forecasting models for a set of brand partners
    • Derive and share merchandising insights for the quarterly business reviews of said brands
    • Support in the development and maintenance of the Farfetch brand portfolio strategy and range plan

Who You Are:

    • Previous work experience in Demand or Supply Planning, Analytics or Consulting
    • Passion for the fashion and luxury industry and a good understanding of its mechanisms/business drivers
    • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with previous experience in data modelling
    • Technical skills to process and analyse large amounts of data: Excel (required), Tableau and SQL/Big Query are a plus
    • Good written (email and PowerPoint) and oral communication skills (English fluency is a must): ability to communicate clearly and effectively in team meetings and synthesise key insights/leverage visual tools in written documents
    • Team worker with collaborative mindset and constructive attitude: real pride in quality of work and the flexibility to navigate a complex and ever-changing business
