About the Role
In this role you will support our key technology partners needs in the acquisition of solutions, products and services as you drive cost savings and innovation. You will coordinate closely with senior leaders in our GapTech organization in the planning and execution (RFPs and negotiations) of category strategies leading to a high strategic impact for all Gap Inc. Brands.
The Sr. Manager will be responsible for developing vendor relationships, while driving effective outcomes. This individual will lead the Technology Operations and Supply Chain Solutions Categories. In addition, the individual will drive cross-organizational process efforts spanning across GapTech, Sourcing, Finance and Legal teams by influencing key vendor relationships and driving vital initiatives.

What You'll Do
- Implement and refine sourcing strategies through strong technical/functional knowledge, in support of the business' short-term and long-term plans
- Achieve defined category performance targets; hold vendors accountable to performance agreements and implement mitigation strategies as needed
- Negotiate strategic, high impact, multi-brand deals for Gap Inc., as well as lead competitive RFXs and supplier selection
- Build and strengthen strategic relationships: successfully partner across functions- Legal, Finance, GapTech and Brands and external suppliers to drive results and influence change
- Have significant Technology SaaS, Hardware and Telecommunications knowledge and leverage industry experts, and stakeholders to identify and benchmark best practices
- Balance speed and urgency with cost savings in vendor negotiations and proactively consider new alternatives to optimize results
- Support the creation and implementation of programs to assess and promote supplier performance and development.
Who You Are
- 7+ years of experience in Technology and Strategic Sourcing
- Broad knowledge across Software, Hardware, SaaS, Cloud, Telecommunications, and Professional Services
- Bachelor's degree in technology, business administration, supply chain management, or related field preferred.
- Experience planning and leading negotiations including hands on review and discussion of both legal and commercial terms
- Ability to assess complex situations, and use relationship and analytical skills to make decisions and recommend solutions
