We are currently looking for a Compensation & Benefits Specialist to manage different projects and support our existing C&B team. Our C&B team is responsible for developing and executing the reward strategy for the Zalando group in close collaboration with the senior management team. The scope of responsibilities of the team includes total reward benchmarking, regular salary review processes, executive compensation, as well as the design and implementation of global equity plans. In addition, the team is responsible for managing the group's comprehensive employee benefits portfolio.

  • You will drive innovative projects to further develop our C&B practice with a special focus on professional and managerial roles
  • You will develop and conduct complex data analyses, interpret results and make recommendations that support the development and maintenance of effective compensation programs aligned with the organization's overall reward strategy
  • You will work with external agencies and internal stakeholders to understand and anticipate market trends and ensure the competitiveness of our compensation offer
  • You will be one of the expert contacts for our P&O business partner and Talent Acquisition organizations to provide guidance and training around our reward system and benefits offering
  • With your technical expertise, you will support the implementation of new compensation IT tool (Workday)
  • You will be the interface to internal stakeholders such as the Works Councils, Legal, Finance or Communications department to successfully implement and communicate Comp&Ben topics within the organization
  • You will support the Compensation and Benefit team in the execution of key compensation processes like the yearly salary round

  • You have 3+ years of working in compensation topics, the experience in a high tech/digital organization or consultancy background are a plus
  • You are familiar working with market data from external market agencies
  • you have successfully completed university (masters) degree in business, economics, finance, social studies or a related field; you are a strong learner and keen to further expand your skills
  • You are structured and detail oriented way of working while always keeping the big picture in mind
  • You have very good communication skills to different audiences and summarize complex topics in an easy to understand and digestible way
  • You are solution-oriented and flexible, embracing change and seeking new opportunities in our agile work culture
  • You can speak English fluently
