Position Overview:

Scotch & Soda is seeking an ambitious omnichannel planner with experience managing multiple categories and channels for the company's North American business. Focusing on both e-commerce and retail (Full Price & Outlets), you will lead inventory management, budgeting, forecasting, and other strategic planning initiatives for a growing European fashion brand in North America. Reporting into the Director of Buying, Planning, and Allocation, this role will serve as a strategic leader in helping drive and optimize the North American sales and inventory.

Key Responsibilities:

50% - Inventory Management:
  • Optimize inventory across E-commerce, Retail, and Off Price channels to maximize sales and gross margin across the company with regards to both profitability and brand visibility
  • Recommend and execute cross-channel transfers of inventory to ensure channels are fulfilled strategically and proactively with the goods needed todo their business
  • Manage and monitor replenishment to all full price and off price locations in order to maintain a steady flow of inventory at all times.
  • Lead the pre-season allocation strategy for all categories at the SKU level by location. Strategically planning floor sets, manage inventory parameters via min/max maintenance and policy settings. Monitor performance at the size level to drive precision by location.
  • Execute all sizing uploads and maintenance of all styles in system. Ensuring all allocations are in alignment with the seasonal calendar and executed to maximize business.
  • Analyze historical data and current trends to identify risks and opportunities by category/style/size/store level to adjust allocation in-season.
  • Track and monitor all outgoing inventory to stores. Providing stores with insight of all incoming inventory.

30% - Financial Planning:
  • Plan and project topline sales, receipts, markdowns, and gross margin for Retail & E-Commerce across Full Price & Off-Price
  • Develop seasonal financial sales, margin and receipt plans across all B2C channels that support the annual budgets

20% - Sales & Inventory Analysis:
  • In-season: Develop new and innovative ways to look at sales, inventory, receipts, margin, and markdowns, with a proactive eye towards future opportunities.
  • Post-season: Lead analysis of last season's performance and communicate wins and losses to the North America and Global product teams

Required Skills:

  • Minimum of 3-5 years of Planning experience with a retail fashion brand
  • Strong excel skills (Pivot Tables, SUMIFS, etc)
  • Ability to work autonomously and independently build reports and other planning tools
  • Clear, concise written, verbal and presentation skills - be able to not just analyze but also tell the story behind the numbers
  • Prioritization and optimization skills needed to focus on the bigger picture to deliver results for the company's sales targets
  • Ability to build and maintain relationships with internal cross-functional teams in both the US and Europe
