The Team
The Brand Marketing team delivers best-in-class, consumer-relevant marketing strategies and campaigns that support the brand and business goals. We achieve this by driving integrated campaigns that deliver clear, powerful brand messages and desirability; from sell-in (trade), to sell-through (consumer). The brand marketing team is the ultimate brand guardian to consistently brining our purpose to life to consumers.

The Position
The Specialist, Consumer Marketing will work within the global brand marketing team bringing the brand positioning of Tommy Jeans to life. Starting with a clear understanding of the brand strategy and the consumer target, the focus lies on connecting the brand closer to culture all over the world to ensure brand relevancy for a new generation of streetwear enthusiasts.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Good understanding of the positioning, vision and objectives of the Tommy Jeans brand to support internal teams executing the marketing strategy with a clear tone of voice and consistent look & feel

  • Managing and supporting the creation of marketing campaigns and activations from briefing internal and external agencies to managing the rollout across touchpoints such as paid media, earned channels, social media, as well as distribution channels

  • Developing close relationships with the functional teams such as social media and earned and influence, providing a strong link to cultures relevant to the Tommy Jeans brand with a focus on streetwear and hip hop culture

  • Be the main connection for the social team to link all organic social plans to the overarching brand calendar to ensure consistent storytelling on relevant platforms

  • Lead the marketing initiatives for licensee products such as eyewear, socks and watches with clear briefs to ensure that all campaigns and initiatives linked to these categories are seamlessly integrated into the overarching marketing strategy and connecting to the positioning of the Tommy Jeans brand

  • Ensuring that the work of the global marketing organization is guided by a clear understanding of the relevant consumer target across regions by establishing close working relationships with the respective local teams

  • Supporting the creation of B2B sell-in assets linked to the quarterly seasonal kick-offs led by the Tommy Jeans division

  • Assisting with the consolidation of reports and recaps

  • Responsible for identifying new opportunities in other cultural spaces, such as gaming, street sports, meme culture

  • Supporting the journey of becoming a more sustainable brand that sits at the core of the Tommy Jeans brand

The Ideal Candidate:
  • 2+ years' experience working in a fast-paced marketing environment, ideally with an international consumer and streetwear brand that connects to lifestyle and culture
  • Strong understanding of streetwear players and trends. Affinity to hip hop culture is a plus
  • Good knowledge of relevant social media platforms, media channels and state-of-the-art fashion marketing tactics
  • Team player with strong communication skills and solution oriented attitude
  • Global mind-set and understanding of cultural differences
  • Self-starter with the ability to independently manage daily project through focused project management
  • Passion to bring the Tommy Jeans brand to the next level
