Under the direction of the NA Payroll Manager, the Payroll Analyst is responsible for the administration of the day-to-day payroll tax operations and accuracy of the payroll tax system to deliver the company's periodic, quarterly and annual tax returns. Assist with the processing of W2's and all year end related activities. They will have a solid understanding of payroll processing and assist where necessary. Come work with us!

*This position is in-person with a hybrid schedule at our Parsippany, NJ office.

Key Accountabilities:
  • Perform and support routine bi-weekly, quarterly, and annual payroll tax processes. Conduct employee tax research. Enter and complete wage and tax corrections in the payroll system. Lead and support resolution to tax assessments, audits, and other legal matters. Maintain knowledge of current federal, state, and local tax legislation, to include evolving legislation changes to a remote workforce. Troubleshoot issues related to payroll tax and provide recommendations on solutions or possible courses of action. Reconcile all employee tax refunds. Process balance adjustments through Oracle HCM to update employee records. Quarterly analysis of all adjustments.
  • Participate in department and cross-functional business partner projects and vendor system updates. Develop meaningful relationships with cross-functional business partners and managing activities with payroll vendors. Identify and drive process improvements consistent with industry standard methodologies
  • Participate in all Year-End activities, including analyzing and reconciling W2's to the W3 report from ADP Reconciling balances to quarter end taxes. Reconcile Payroll reports to 941s and W-2s as well as T4s
  • Back up processing staff and process off cycle payroll runs. Projects and other tasks as assigned.

Required Qualifications:
  • 4+ Years experience in payroll
  • Specific knowledge and payroll tax background

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Finance or Accounting degree
  • Certified Payroll Professional (CPP)
