CKE's Plan to Win and the 'One organization' priority

For the coming years the CKE organization has defined 5 strategic priorities of its so called Plan to Win. One of these priorities is to Integrate into one effective brand organization that is working collaboratively towards clear and aligned strategic objectives. This priority breaks out into a number of sub-priorities, one of which is to truly implement 'one organization': A closely connected CKE team that works collaboratively and inclusively with each other and with all other parts of PVH.

CKE Strategic Communications

The Senior Communication Specialist is a newly created role that sits within the Strategy and Implementation pillar, and reports to the Director of Business Strategy. The Strategy and Implementation pillar is responsible for defining, driving and implementing Calvin Klein Europe's Strategy and is a leadership-adjacent team that operates at the forefront of the business. The team interacts on a daily basis with a wide range of internal stakeholders across the Product and Marketing organization.

Key objective of the role

At Calvin Klein Europe, we believe that how we communicate at work can have the power to help Associates feel engaged and purposeful, resulting in a better organization overall. The Senior Communication Specialist will play a major role in our Integrate strategic priority, ensuring the connectivity within the CKE organization, and between the CKE organization and key internal and external stakeholders.

As a Senior Communication Specialist, you understand better than anyone that effective communications consist of delivering logical messages through strong narratives and clear visualisation. You know how to distil complex business ideas into simple, honest and compelling communication that is catered to the specific audiences within the Calvin Klein Europe Organization and outside of the Calvin Klein Europe organization such as the PVH Europe, and PVH and Calvin Klein global organizations and leadership teams. Essentially, this role is about verbalizing and visualising business and brand concepts (e.g., our Calvin Klein Europe seasonal strategy) in a clear and structured way that is understandable for different stakeholder group.

The role will work closely with stakeholders at different levels across the business, gaining a full perspective on the strategy and day-to-day work of the organization. You will be at the heart of our organization, and so connecting with teams and being creative should be in your DNA. Core responsibilities
  • Work with the Director Business Strategy to design, roll-out and manage a cohesive program of communication initiatives (eg. Townhalls, stakeholder connection moments) to increase connectivity within CK Europe, PVH Europe and CK Global.
  • Collaborate with teams from across the organization to design and produce compelling presentations that communicate strategy and progress on key strategic initiatives.
  • Work with Calvin Klein Europe Senior Leadership to design and produce presentations for stakeholder communications such as:
    • Senior stakeholder meetings (Board of Director meetings, Budget presentations, Strategy updates with PVH Senior Management).
    • Internal events (Quarterly Townhalls, New Hires Induction Days, Strategy Plan presentations, Seasonal Collection Market Launch presentations).

Skills and Competencies
  • Outstanding skills in story-lining/storytelling, capable of visualising concepts and creating impactful and effective presentations on PowerPoint and Keynote
  • Excellent verbal communication skills and experience with stakeholder management, confident in presenting and articulate ideas to senior stakeholders
  • Quick problem solver - ability to understand complex issues easily and make connections and create solutions
  • Can deal with ambiguity and quick changes
  • Highly organized and structured
  • Excellent English written and spoken
  • Humble approach, team player

Education and experience
  • 4+ years working experience in a corporate environment
  • 2+ years experience in graphic design or consulting roles creating visual presentations
  • Bachelor degree in a relevant field
  • Experience in the fashion industry or related industries
