This Role is Tailor-Made for You Because:
The Receptionist/Showroom Lead represents the TB Brand to all visitors and callers. This person must be a fast learner able to quickly understand the nature of our business. They must have a pleasant outlook and be able to handle several tasks at once with poise and confidence. This role will oversee and manage the Tory Burch NY showroom. This position owns responsibility for scheduling and managing the showroom for all markets and events, across all categories.

A Day in the Life:

Reception:
  • Greet and assist visitors, guiding them to respective meetings and rooms
  • Maintain appearance of front lobby, hallway, meeting rooms, and showroom in Tory Burch aesthetic
  • Assist in the preparation of meetings
  • Gatekeeper of corporate conference room and showroom calendar
  • Screen calls or take messages and deliver to the appropriate employees, when necessary
  • Help with COVID-19 safety protocols
  • Activate and de-activate office entry cards
  • Process invoices
  • Update corporate phone list and maintain corporate information files
  • Place corporate staff business card orders. Keep accurate records of orders
  • Assist in planning corporate events
  • Additional administrative and clerical support (e.g. may need to schedule meetings, book travel, etc.)


Showroom:
  • Create and update comprehensive market calendar across categories, including four markets each year for three categories (RTW, Shoes and Accessories) and events
  • Problem solve space constraints and overlapping client appointments for all categories
  • Balance showroom needs of internal and external, domestic and international buyers to ensure all parties have enough time in the showroom and with product
  • Responsible for maintenance and provide direction for showroom (cleanliness, flowers, furniture/fixtures, temperature, music, product display, etc.)
  • Maintain showroom kitchen. Ensure all dishware/glassware/flatware is in good condition. Replenish as needed.
  • Coordinate catering orders for all categories. Code, process and keep track of all catering invoices
  • Organize RTW castings for showroom models
  • Responsible for the maintenance of the samples (steaming, dry cleaning, sending to other office locations, repairing garments when necessary, etc.)
  • Liaise with the Marketing team for events taking place in the showroom
  • Work with internal sales teams to schedule showroom needs for buying
  • Work with Merchandising to understand their specific market needs
  • Work with Visual to assist in Showroom display needs and set-ups


To Land This Role:
  • Knowledge of phone system

  • Knowledge of computers and relevant software applications
  • Knowledge of customer service principles and practices
  • Bachelor degree preferred
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills
  • Professional personal presentation
