Wholesale Account Executive

Jonathan Simkhai is seeking an experienced Account Executive to join the wholesale team to manage a combination of Specialty Store and Department Store businesses.

Key Responsibilities:

-Responsible for maintaining and growing both new and existing assigned Women’s wholesale accounts.

-Perform weekly, monthly and end of season sales analysis, with comprehensive financial understanding of the business.

-Drive in season business through reorder replenishment and proactively identifying sales opportunities.

- Travel and spend regular time in stores to provide product knowledge clinics, selling events and to gain a clear overview of the business potential per market.

-Target new business, analyze brand adjacency and positioning, and survey the general market for additional wholesale opportunities.

-Responsible for preparing for market and selling the collections in New York, Paris (up to six times per year). Regional markets will be layered in where applicable to the business.

-Responsible for entering and reviewing orders ensuring strong classification coverage and brand representation per door. -Provide collection recaps after sales campaigns addressing collection strengths and opportunities.

-Negotiate terms and financial agreements with respective accounts.

-Maintain the highest degree of client service; serve as a brand ambassador.

Requirements:

-Must have 3 years of related professional experience in the contemporary or luxury market

-Must have prior fashion industry experience

-Bachelors degree from an accredited university

-Strong financial acumen, analytics skills and knowledge of retail math.

-Engaging verbal/communication and presentation skills are a must.

-Must be able to travel by road and air, overnight stays and weekend work when needed.
