About the Role

The Senior Manager of Licensing will be a key position to manage the licensing division within FSAL regarding strategies and business decisions as it relates to scaling and operationalizing the Licensing business. Ability to drive process, partner with cross-functional teams across Gap Inc. Help to build the Licensing Division within Gap Inc. and drive sustainable and operational excellence.

What You'll Do

  • Accountable for leading the commercial operations and business strategy for Gap and Banana Republic licensing brands
  • Drives all internal workstreams cross functionally in Licensing, FSAL, brand and corporate functions.
  • Develops all strategy, process, and implementation of scaling the Licensing business from an operational perspective
  • Manages the Air Table relationship and training for both internal and external partners
  • Manage master licensing summary & internal Hub comms inclusive of partner, brand and compliance approvals
  • Approve all licensing brand marketing materials and placements, liaise with Gap and Banana Republic brand marketing teams as needed and communicate plans to Franchise teams
  • Partner with global sustainability on vendor compliance, trademark and legal teams on contract regarding all licensed product categories
  • Responsible for managing the Gap Inc. licensing commercial operations including the brands: Gap and Banana Republic
  • Develop quarterly recaps to Gap Inc. executive team inclusive of financials, products selling information, category opportunities and marketing activations for all licensed categories.
  • Partner with IMG to ensure a fully integrated Global Licensing strategy.
  • Manage discussions regarding viability of proposals, inclusive of category, territory, channel, market insight assessments
  • Implement and develop processes and procedures to help scale the business
  • Manage the Gap x Walmart Home project internally
  • Partner with Gap Inc. Strategy Team on larger company strategy
  • Provide Brand strategy and category support to IMG
  • Partner with Global Compliance and Sustainability on vendor compliance and risk mitigation
  • Partners with legal on trademark registration

Who You Are

  • Previous experience in License and Wholesale business
  • Excellent oral & written communication skills, ability to interface with and influence all levels of management
  • Proven ability to lead and work cross-functionally in a high energy, fast paced, small but mighty business unit
  • Sales and analytics experience
  • Ability to multi-task and manage multiple projects at once
  • Drive and implement process to drive efficiency's
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint skills
  • Will work mostly east coast hours
