About the Role

This position is a campus role responsible for Global DCs and network level reporting performance metrics used by a wide variety of business partners in evaluating a DC's service, cost, and people performance results. Individual must be resourceful, efficient, and possess a solid understanding of the business. Primary owner of all warehouse Key Performance Indicators, daily & weekly performance reporting requiring a high degree of data integrity, requires analysis and operational understanding to call attention or conduct further research. The role will also be responsible for procurement of warehouse and office supplies, working with vendors in pricing/product selection as well as payment/quality resolution.

What You'll Do

Divisional Performance Reporting: Responsible for daily publication of prior day, WTD, MTD cost performance estimates for multiple DCs. Compiles and publishes prior week performance including productivity, Volume, SLA, & productivity cost impacts, dashboard, and hours tracking reports. On a monthly basis provides Kronos special hours & payroll to support month end close reconciliation.

Divisional Reporting: Compiles Essbase repository upload weekly to support divisional reporting roll-ups, weekly dashboard, labor dashboard. Brand updates are also part of this weekly deliverable. Monthly divisional reports include SLA trackers to BMO teams.

Multiple DC Procurement: Responsible for order completion process for all warehouse & office supplies processed through Oracle or P-card. Includes management of PO's and order delivery with vendors. Accurate tracking of expenses through invoice database and close/forecast support to finance team that also includes paid/unpaid invoice research. Vendor support for unpaid invoices in collaboration with A/P. Responsible for accruals for the month-end close process. Owns monthly spend analysis to recommend areas of opportunities to the local Campus leadership.

Finance team: Provides support to Finance manager for month-end close and Forecast activities. Official back-up for the Financial Analyst role to cover absences.

Other duties as required.

Who You Are

Daily interaction with the Finance Manager. Role will have frequent interaction with various Campuses across DC network and DC Leadership. Will work via e-mail and phone with other support departments; corporate accounts payable, DC Finance, and peers across network. In a campus supply procurement role must also develop vendor relationships.

Professional skills & abilities:
  • Solid understanding of Accounting, Financial, & Procurement Principles
  • PC Proficiency: Advanced Excel, Microsoft Word, MS Outlook, MS Access, PowerPoint.
  • Proficiency in Gap-centric Business Systems; (Oracle, Essbase, WMS, Business Objects, Kronos, DLx) or equivalent work experience with WMS, Time management system, and Accounting software.
  • Must have solid Analytical Techniques
  • Strong time management & prioritization skills
  • Able to meet deliverables with high level of accuracy
  • Accounting/Mathematical/Financial background
  • Self-directed in completing repetitive tasks

Educational Level:
  • Diploma in Administration/Finance/Accounting or equivalent work experience.
  • University Degree is a plus.

Required Experience:
  • 3 plus years of work experience in a Finance position or in a similar Warehouse environment
  • 3 plus years of reporting of business/financial metrics.
  • 3 plus years of working experience in Excel, Word, PowerPoint.
