About the Role

In this role, you will connect talent initiatives and employee insights to business outcomes to drive a high-performance culture and workforce. You will support and enable operationalizing Gap Inc.'s talent strategies and practices.

What You'll Do

  • Serve as an expert on Workday's Core HCM platform
  • Partner with business partners and stakeholders to develop technology solutions that help to optimize and automate HR processes
  • Use business knowledge and expertise to find opportunities for process improvements and inform partners of options, risks, and impacts on other processes or systems
  • Drive projects from exploration to implementation; provide expertise, guidance, and delivery of projects
  • Lead and execute configuration of the Workday application to achieve business objectives
  • Lead and develop Workday Core HCM team on a global scale
  • Ability to manage work performed by outsourced vendor both on and offshore
  • Engage with global HR Technology team members to knowledge share, partner on cross-functional impacts and ensure process consistency
  • Engage with Workday Community to understand technology capabilities and recommend solutions that address business needs
  • Review system upgrades and releases to determine overall impact, conduct regression testing and make recommendations for future enhancements/functionality with an eye to improve the overall platform and user experience

Who You Are

  • Continuous learner and possess an organizational savviness to build relationships across a matrixed organization, understand the business needs and deliver results
  • Create with audacity through using your strong diagnostic skills in listening, probing and analyzing to translate business problems into data driven solutions
  • Strong ability to derive meaningful insights from complex data sets and present them through compelling data storytelling
  • Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office suite and comfort with HR systems
  • Anticipate operational/program issues and develops preventative measures
