Job Description:

The Social Sciences department seeks a an adjunct instructor in US History. The successful candidate will teach the second half of the US history survey course on Monday mornings this fall, a course on African American history on Thursday mornings, and/or the history of the US film and television industries on Fridays, late afternoon. Adjunct instructors deliver relevant course material, assess student performance, and submit grades in a timely manner.

Requirements:

Minimum Qualifications:
  • Candidates must have an earned Master's degree plus 30 graduate credits and relevant teaching experience in an academic institution of higher learning.

The position is on campus, primarily in an office environment.

Additional Information:

Salary Schedule 97

Hiring Rate: $77.43 per hour; hourly rate and appointment rank will be based on education level and cumulative experience.
