This exciting new position in the evolving function of Training & Development provides holistic training support for HUGO BOSS Retail stores and concession within the NY Metro market. From needs analysis through adaptation of global concepts to training delivery and training follow-up. The Retail Trainer- NY Metro will work closely with Retail Leadership, the Training Manager for US & CAN, as well as the Global Training Team. Training delivery & related activities will account for approximately 60% - 70% of the job with the balance comprising of admin duties including managing HB University.

The ideal candidate is dynamic and has a demonstrated passion for helping others learn and grow. The candidate is a role model in customer service excellence, quality execution, and respectful cooperation.

What you can expect:

  • Plan, Budget, & Coordinate training events in the NY Metro area, and beyond as needed.
  • Deliver in-person and virtual training on the following topics (in no particular order): Brand, Product, Sales, Omnichannel, and more.
  • Regular visits to stores in NYC and surrounding areas as needed.
  • Work with German HQ and Training Manager to adapt and roll-out global training concepts.
  • Support Retail Leaders with development and implementation of regional training content to meet business needs.
  • Own training tracking and reporting
  • Management of Learning Management System (HB University)
  • Manage weekly newsletter input


Your profile:

  • 1 to 2 years of training and potentially selling experience in retail.
  • Ability to quickly absorb new concepts
  • Strong communication & presentation skills
  • Proficient in MSOffice Suite, able to quickly learn new IT systems / processes
  • Ability to travel NY Metro and work on a flexible schedule (as needed)
